Garth Best is a great attorney. I was involved in a situation that appeared one way on the surface, but once you dig into the details, it was something else. Garth’s extensive knowledge of the law and system was critical in working through to achieve the best outcome. One thing that I was truly appreciative of was his ability to listen. I had originally hired a different firm and after struggling with communication, I called Garth. Garth listened more in our consultation than the prior attorney did in a month. For that I am truly appreciative. In addition, Kayla, the office paralegal, was awesome throughout the process. She was very responsive to questions and inquiries. I never felt out of the loop. I am truly grateful for Best and Brock.

Some of you might be reading this thinking the price tag for Best and Brock is pretty steep - I sure did - but in the end it was so worth every single penny!! FIVE STARS IS NOT ENOUGH. Not only did they get me a lower sentence for my DUI initially and ensure I could still drive with restrictions, but they advocated for me every step of the way throughout the whole process. You might think that once court is over, your legal team goes away and that may be the case elsewhere but not these guys. Many other agencies treated me like I wasn't worth helping but I was treated gently and with respect throughout the whole process with Best and Brock. Anytime I had questions(and I had LOTS of those) they were there to answer them with enthusiasm and a smile. When it came time to get my interlock device removed, we discovered that my DUI information had been duplicated in another state by mistake and it had caused a revocation of my license in my home state -- but thanks to the lovely folks at Best and Brock, I was able to navigate a clerical error between the two states that would have added MONTHS to my interlock restriction and who knows how many phone calls, have all erroneous information removed from my record and dealt with properly, and finally finish out my debt to society so I could move on with my life. I can't even imagine what others who were experiencing the same clerical error must have experienced without a legal team to help them. They're probably STILL dealing with it because when you're just one person, a number on a piece of paper, it's really hard to get any of these state agencies to listen! Everybody screws up sometimes. That doesn't mean you deserve to be treated like a lost cause. If you're on the fence about hiring legal counsel for your DUI, hop off the fence and hop straight into the Best and Brock offices because these are the folks you want in your corner when the chips are down.

I had a great experience with Phil Spitalny. He was able to help me keep my clean record and handled everything professionally. I really recommend him not only because he is a great lawyer but also because he is super easy to work with. He took my case from a possible fine and worst case scenario losing my license to a slap on the wrist. He gave me no reason to be worried and he was confident that the case would be dismissed.
