Kevin helped me with a purchase on 2/7/2026. I bought a monitor as a gift for my partner. He was very knowledgeable about all electronic products! I’m really glad I went to this location because of his help . Thank you Kevin!!
Look I'm usually a kinda shy (lol) quiet person or I used to be and that's so not the point and who cares anyway! I go into Best Buy and not a soul living or dead is to be found to assist. What do I do?.. begin to sing song not to list or obnoxiously the "helllooo anyone here" while walking around the store. Yippee, find a guy on a register and foolishly ask if he works at the store he Never makes eye contact but says no. I say thank you ma'am on register who doesn't work here, with a stupid grin and smile on my face. Finally out works out. A young man assists. I ask a few pointed questions regarding Chromebook vs tablets etc and I'm so happy to say he did not disappoint. He was respectful, direct and honest with no interest to oversell. Made a choice or two but decided last minute it wasn't worth it overall, why? Taxes + Geek Squad cost almost 1 1/2 times more than the item purchase. I thanked the young man for being true because it was admirable, shook his hand and left the EMPTY store with few showers and even fewer employees. There's potential but no one to encourage, enlighten, motivate anyone in the empty space.
My laptop which I bought from best buy stopped working. I took it in to Geek Squad and was helped by Danny who was very clear and efficient. He explained what they thought was wrong and said that they would need to ship it off for repairs. He also helped me back up all my files and data on the best buy servers.
This store has some of the worst customer service I’ve encountered. I went in, purchased an oven, opened a store credit card, and was assured that I would receive good service and support if anything came up. The delivery was scheduled for Thursday between 3 and 7 p.m. At 6:30, I received a text saying the delivery was delayed and that I needed to call to reschedule. When I called, I was told I had to wait until the next day because of a computer issue. I requested several call-backs and never received one. I ended up going back to the store and asked to speak to a manager. He checked the order and informed me that the oven wasn’t even available until after Christmas. He also said this happens to a lot of customers and there was nothing they could do. I then asked for the GM to contact me, but instead I got a call from the assistant GM, Alex, who was not helpful. He didn’t seem to understand the situation and repeated that this type of issue is common, as if that made it acceptable. I had prepared my home and blocked off my day based on the delivery they promised, and in the end I received no support, no accountability, and had to cancel my order entirely. I would not recommend shopping here or placing orders through this store. They are unorganized, unreliable, and do not take responsibility for their mistakes.
After the store's reply to my review, I feel compelled to ask: is it mandatory to be on social media to communicate??? I carefully steer clear of all these platforms... am I doomed as a BB customer?! And as an illustration of my comments about the staff, it seems inadequate that three or four salespersons were walking around with their hands in their pockets while two people were waiting in line to be served by a single assistant whom I had overwhelmed with a complicated return. Some of the staff can be helpful, some others useless. When asking specific technical questions, some of the staff will be honest and tell you they don't know the answer or they'll look it up on the web, others will tell you anything. I've been very disappointed by the TotalTech program which only covers things you buy for 2 years from the date of purchase; you can keep on renewing your membership, but if you don't buy anything for 2 years then you're throwing $400 away (I think it's actually $185 per year)! This is kind of crazy because it entices people to destroy what they buy 23 months after purchasing it, in order to get the new one... Totally counterproductive and Anti-ecological in my view...
