From beginning of appointment to the end I enjoy coming in to this office for my dermatology concerns. Front staff/back staff are super pleasant including Dr. Kim. He explained my concerns to a level where I can understand. Also office aura is very welcoming! Thank you beyond skin dermatology for being professional and welcoming.

Great office! Friendly front desk staff and it was easy to fill out paperwork ahead of time online which streamlined the entire visit. Dr. Kim was very knowledgeable and did a great job of incorporating my personal/family medical history into his decision making. Very thorough.

I always have a great experience here. The doctor really listens to your concerns and tries to make sure that you’re comfortable with the treatment plan. The receptionists and assistants are always really friendly and warm. Very fortunate to have found a great dermatologist on my first try! ☺️

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with such a warm welcome to the office from all of the front office staff. Lauren and Dr. Sang are so attentive and just have a natural way of putting you at ease. They genuinely seem interested in taking care of your needs. Going to the Doctor is never easy, but I honestly could not ask for a better experience from all smiles when walking in, attentiveness, timeliness and efficiency. Thank you Dr. Sang and all of your wonderful staff for turning a dreaded & stressful experience into a breeze- I appreciate you all! Keep up the awesome work and customer service!!!

Updating after seeing Dr. Kim a second time. I had originally gone in for my annual skin check; this would have been my first time as a patient of Beyond Skin. I left the appointment feeling like it was rushed and not very thorough. The office manager reached out to me - see below - and asked me to contact them. I booked an appointment to come back. During my second visit, Dr. Kim and I discussed my concerns and came to an understanding that I am the sort of patient who prefers overcommunication. He did another check of my concerns that he missed the first time and thoroughly explained the spots per my request. I appreciate the office for quickly addressing my review and Dr. Kim for working with me to make sure I felt comfortable with the exam. Original review for transparency: The good - friendly staff, clean office, ample parking, takes Medicaid, and the appointment was on time with no waiting. If my appointment had been more satisfactory, I would absolutely use them regularly and recommend them to everyone. The bad - My previous skin checks with my former doctor usually took 45ish minutes as they scrutinized every inch of my skin to ensure they didn't miss anything. Dr. Kim glanced quickly at each section of my body, checked maybe 5 potential spots, and only went through 1/4 of my scalp. While he was nice enough, he didn't ask the usual questions, didn't educate or explain, and didn't try to find the spot in my hair that I had mentioned but couldn't quickly locate. Maybe that's sufficient, and my previous doc was overly thorough, but when it comes to melanoma, I'd rather have overkill than a quick check.
