We could not have higher praise for Megan and Beyond the Dog. Before the training started, Megan told us that she would have our dog walking down busy trails like the Katy Trail within 5 weeks. We didn’t believe that was possible because our dog was so reactive around other dogs, people, etc. Megan completely transformed our dog. He is so much calmer than he was before, and we can now take him places we never thought we could. Cannot recommend Megan and Beyond the Dog enough!!

Megan is nothing short of a lifesaver. Our pup, Katy, was on the streets for about 3 months before we were able to trap her and bring her home (no clue what her first 3ish years looked like). She was terrified, skittish, shut down/withdrawn, and zero in confidence. Before we started with Megan, Katy’s world was so small, and we were at a loss, our other trainer was at a loss, and all we wanted was to give Katy the life she hadn’t yet had. Megan gave her all that and more. She’s no longer terrified of leashes, the outside, or our apartment. Just a week into our sessions with Megan, she started wagging her tail. She’s now so confident on walks, exploring the apartment, and has started showing her silly personality. I credit Megan entirely - we obviously followed her advice outside of sessions to a T, but she so thoughtfully curated how to work with our pup, and drove so much progress in her sessions with Katy. Megan is brilliant in her work, and I trust her wholeheartedly. I can’t thank or recommend her enough!!!!

Beyond expectations!! Megan is a miracle worker. Our 1.5 year old shelter pup was unwalkable because he was so reactive that it was dangerous for everyone involved (he pulled me over and ran across a busy street). After the first week, we already saw major improvement. Now, we get compliments from strangers not only about how cute he is but about how calm and well behaved he is! The in-home structure of the program was extremely convenient for our busy schedules. The psychology based training philosophy is incredibly effective and felt kind. Megan was so patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. I always knew our pup was in good hands, and he absolutely loves her (he was more excited to see her when she came for her last follow up lesson than he is to see me come home half the time). This was truly an incredible experience that helped us be the dog owners we want to be. I can’t recommend Megan enough!!!
