Very unique place. Atmosphere was vintage with lots of old decor. Food was outstanding and was a bit fancy. Great for special occasions!!:)
You have to try this place! Everything here was so amazing! The atmosphere alone is worth going here. The service was great and the food was delicious. The plates are served with a large portion, the pasta is definitely shareable. If you go here, get there before dark to walk around the outside of the house which is beautifully landscaped and there are all kinds of fun things to see. Once inside be sure to walk around inside through the different rooms and look at the art, pictures, and decor. So much character and charm. This is a family run business - Nader ((Dad, owner) is the chef, his son was our server. Nader cooks everything made to order and is fresh and delicious! We had the Coconut Chicken appetizer - OMG - it was so good, and comes in a sharable portion, so enough to share with the table. I would be tempted to order this dish as my entree and then order a salad to go along with it. They serve these warm dinner rolls with a delicious creamy butter with your soup or salad starter. You will not leave this place hungry! The owner came out to greet customers and walked us to the door as we were leaving. He has a great since of humor and had us all laughing. If you are lucky enough he will send you off with a riddle - which we are all still trying to figure out! Dining here was a great experience and I can't wait to go back next time we are in town.
Great atmosphere and great food. I’ve eaten at some great steakhouses, including Mortensen‘s, Ruth Chris, Ditkas, Shula‘s, & Fleming‘s. I Believe Billy’s topped all of them. Every aspect of the meal was over the top the potatoes were different than anything I’ve ever eaten, and the dessert was phenomenal. If you’re in Lincoln, Nebraska, this is one stop you have to make.
I’d heard that Rubens originated in Nebraska. It was said Billy’s has the best so I went to find out. What do I think? I think it might The Best Ruben I’ve ever eaten. Not only is the sandwich spectacular, the fries are cooked to perfection & delicious. Now factor in the first rate service and reasonable prices… BILLYS in Lincoln is a must go. I plan to go back try something else off the menu before I leave town!! **be aware, it’s huge and it’s messy. Let it cool a little, cut it in half and enjoy
What an amazing restaurant. Food was great and service was impeccable, I feel like you don't get that everywhere anymore. They gave us extra food to taste that we were asking about, made my significant other's birthday special! Definitely recommend. Lots of food for a great price. Steak was really good, duck breast, crab cakes, soup, bread, and dessert were all amazing! Thanks Jordan and all staff!
