I booked a microneedling appointment specifically for acne hyperpigmentation, scars, and fine lines. At the appointment, I was told the treatment would not be performed due to closed comedones and possible acne. Instead, a chemical peel was performed, but I was charged the same price as the microneedling treatment. While I understand treatment suitability is important, this was very frustrating because it was not communicated properly. I wish a proper consultation had been done earlier so expectations could have been set, alternative treatment options clearly explained, and appropriate treatment options shown and discussed in advance rather than at the appointment. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

From the beginning, my interactions with the injector felt off. Not to mentioned their "deposit ad". During a prior visit for Dysport (expensive visit), the results left me looking noticeably worse, which understandably led me to return and ask for help—this is my face, after all. Rather than being met with concern or openness, I felt an underlying sense of defensiveness, as if my dissatisfaction was unwelcome. I brushed it off at the time, but that discomfort lingered. At a later visit, when I mentioned that my face looked better, the response felt snarky and dismissive, as though I was being subtly criticized for having previously expressed concerns. For an injector who has been in practice for roughly a year, I would expect a stronger willingness to listen to feedback, fine-tune results, and prioritize client satisfaction—especially when working on someone’s face. Then I was asked to be a model for a new product under clearly discussed terms. I was told I would only be responsible for the cost of the product, while the remainder of the treatment would be covered in exchange for before-and-after marketing use. Despite not needing my under-eye fillers dissolved, I agreed to it as part of their model protocol, with the assurance that a replacement treatment would follow shortly after. Once my fillers were dissolved, the plan abruptly changed. New requirements were introduced after the procedure, including an ultrasound costing hundreds of dollars at my own expense—something that was never disclosed beforehand and they claimed they were not aware of it either but that is also NOT my fault. At the end of this experience, I was offered $500, which does not come close to covering the actual cost of my original under-eye fillers or the impact of being left without the treatment I was promised. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability and transparency once the situation became inconvenient. This experience caused unnecessary stress and a complete loss of trust. I strongly advise anyone considering a model arrangement or injectable treatments here to get everything in writing and ensure the injector is receptive to feedback—because that willingness matters just as much as technical skill. If it feels off, RUN! I wish I listen to my gut feeling.

I had the Moxi laser treatment today. Sarah was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. It’s clear she truly cares about helping her clients achieve their best skin. My skin has always been my biggest insecurity, but Sarah made me feel completely comfortable & like we’d been friends for years. I can’t wait to come back!
