Gorgeously designed bookstore with such a lovely curated book selection. You can tell the owners are book lovers. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and offer personalized suggestions. It's warm and inviting and I feel welcome to peruse, sit, read as long as I like as a customer. Regarding my drink, I got an iced matcha latte which I would give 0/5 stars. It was gross. Basically like drinking a big cup of milk with the thought of matcha. I threw it away. I have high standards for matcha drinks, and I try to keep my expectations tempered, but this was egregiously bad lol. The ratio needs to be way less milk and more matcha. A $7 lesson for me, I guess. The coffee and pastries look good, probably better than the matcha.
It was my first time in and I was super excited to finally visit. I saw a few people get welcomed in and given tours of the space, which would've been really nice, but maybe you have to request the tour in advance. It's really beautiful inside and there are a wide variety of books, keepsake-like items, and calendars, but the pricing was a bit steep. I spent $15 on a muffin and matcha, which surprised me a bit, but I was excited to try it after seeing the coffee shop on Instagram. Overall, it's super pretty and picturesque inside. I'd recommend a casual visit for other book lovers. 📚✨️
Y'all, this place is gorgeous. I actually didn't know what I was walking into, so the pictures don't even do it justice. I only came here to get a birthday gift for a close friend, and truly didn’t think I’d be blown away. All I had in my head was book, gift card, cool. I walked in SHOOK. Not even prepared to take pics, I was like wait, I might like books now? Oh also, I didn't know there was going to be an entire coffee shop inside & I left a happy gal. Latte in hand living life. The barista was extremely sweet. I browsed the area while sippin my latte. The place is stunning. It gave Arch Digest vibes for sure. I also loved that they gave free post cards with your purchase. I actually used them to write a sweet message to my sweet girl for her birthday. Also, if you're not the best at gift wrapping (I try okay), head next door to paper source, they wrapped the book so beautifully. We also chatted the entire time they wrapped. I had an entire hair appointment I was almost late to because...yap. Visit this space, you’ll enjoy it. Head to my Instagram for more > @mickeysentme
