So good! I had the New York with mushrooms and truffle and potatoes au gratin. I ordered it medium and it was perfect. Delicious. We also shared a dessert sampler plate at our table and each item on it was impressive with bold, rich flavors. That makes it tough to share! Birks is my favorite steakhouse in the area. It's a very nice place.
We had such a lovely experience here. We don’t drink alcohol and decided to share a meal, and the staff handled everything with such kindness and ease. They even offered to split the dish for us, which immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. We ordered the bone marrow and the 16 oz steak cooked medium rare, and the steak was absolutely perfect. The portions were very generous. My wife was full after just a few bites, and I was completely stuffed by the end. What really stood out was the care and warmth from the team, including the manager. A small dessert with a candle was brought out at the end, which was such a kind and memorable gesture. It wasn’t about the dessert itself, but the thought behind it. We left feeling great and truly appreciated. Excellent food, generous portions, and exceptional hospitality.
It was a dinner with leadership of the company, fantastic atmosphere, we ordered the appetizer sampler having Chipotle steak bits, fried calamari, blackened garlic fries, in main course, it was marys chicken, pork chops and 8oz Filet Mignon, all well cooked and delicious. I will suggest make reservation and then go. Its the hidden gem of Santa Clara and must order the dessart sampler.
Been here many many times whenever we crave steaks. This restaurant is tucked in the office buildings. Parking lot is at the back of the building. Every time when we come, we ask for Dennis. He's the best server you can ever get. He's friendly, polite and proactive. Sometimes I don't have to ask for refills, he already is ahead of the game and bring me my drink or whatever I was about to ask for. I don't come without him serving us. To start, theeir bread is very good. It comes out hot and soft. We can't stop eating it before our meals. Their appetizers are good too. We usually get their olive oil poached shrimps and fried calamari. You don't see the olive oil poached shrimps any other places and they're good. Their wood smoked prime rib is the bomb! They used to only serve this during the weekend awhile back. (We had come before during the weekend and was disappointed it got sold out). Now they have this daily. If it's your first time here, you gotta try their prime rib. You can taste the smoked flavor and it's not over-powering. It tastes much better than a regular prime rib you get elsewhere. Their steaks are excellent too. We usually get the filet mignon and the ribeye. They look it very well and it comes with 2 sides. Their pork chop is awesome, so is their sea bass and salmon. You just got to come and try them all. Now comes to the desserts. Their cheesecake is surprisingly good. It's light and fluffy. We really enjoyed it They also have private rooms for booking for gatherings or events. We booked one of their private rooms for family event before and got to customize the menu with the help of Robert (manager). Come support this local business that serve awesome food and services. You won't be disappointed.
We had a marvelous lunch, mother and daughter time sitting on the outdoor patio of Birk's restaurant. The outstanding service and scrumptious food added to our luncheon time. My mom enjoyed a hot chocolate along with the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. I had the Chinese chicken salad with salmon and my sister enjoyed the prime rib special. The dessert menu called us, we splurged and had the chocolate chip ice cream along with the creme brulee. Susie our waitress was wonderful!
