Don’t know what the hype is about - very average food taste and flavor. Corn dog has too much dough - the proportion here is off. Self service. Food took too long for a fast food place like this. Can’t escape comparison to Paik’s Noodle around the corner because the menu and concept is very similar. Unfortunately quite a difference in quality and taste
We ordered jajangmyeon, tteokbokki, jjamppong, and tangsuyuk, and everything was delicious. Prices are very reasonable. I’d definitely come back if I lived nearby!
Really solid place for jajangmyeon (I got too excited and mixed the bowl before taking a photo). The pork cutlet was also really good too!
Found this place online and it looks new so my roommates and I decided to give it a try! I will say, if you are ordering online, double check the prices when placing an order because I don’t think it’s correct. Online, it says a bowl of jajangmyeon is 5.99 but it’s actually around 11.99 (maybe they were referring to a kids size but I’m not sure). My roommate went to pick up the food and this is what we ordered: Corn Dog Jajangmyeon Tangsuyuk I’ve seen the typical potato dogs and mozerella dogs but not one with corn around it. The corn added that extra… corn flavor lol…. and the dough was crispy and thick with a savory hot dog in the middle- can’t go wrong with it! Jajangmyeon is a classic Korean dish that I love ordering and this place did well! For those of you who are wondering, yes, it comes with Danmuji (pickled yellow radish) and diced onions. As for the tangsuyuk, the pork had that addicting crispy and chewy exterior that we all crave. And the sauce was sweet/sour with a good amount of veggies. Overall, this is another great Korean restaurant in the Spring Branch and I hope to go back and try their Dalgona Latte.
My friend and I decided to try this newly opened restaurant. We ordered jjajangmyeon, jjampong, and tangsuyuk. The portions were generous, and the dishes were delicious. We noticed a distinct pepper flavor in both noodle dishes, which was a unique and interesting addition. The jjampong had a pleasant, balanced spiciness. We felt very welcome, and I would definitely return.
