I was able to have a taste of their vanilla syrup and its the best syrup I have had to date! Its made in house. My gf had their homemade baked good hummus ball and chia latte. Baking goods are delicious! The atmosphere inside is cozy and has old vibes. The only downside that comes with historical buildings is the musty smell and the location isnt the best. The area needs some TLC and it would be amazing. They also should get another comfy cow chair like they have at the front door bc it’s adorable.

When visiting Toledo, we stopped at Black Kite Coffee. The café was clean, and the staff were both friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, it was a great experience. The only two things that kept me from giving five stars were: 1. The restroom was out of toilet paper. 2. There weren’t any sugar-free options for drinks. While they did offer natural sweeteners like maple syrup and honey, which I appreciated, there were no true sugar-free alternatives. With those small improvements, it would easily be a five-star spot!

First time in. Bagel ball and iced Coconut Cream latte were both good. Not in the best part of town but would return if I was in the area.
