I visited Blackrock Books in the last month out of a want to visit all the bookstores in Buffalo and I found the interior very cozy. It was like being in a dream living room-library. The table displays are great and I appreciated how calm the atmosphere was in the midst of a chilly, icy, snowy winter. I ended up getting a book due to a great sale they had going on around the beginning of January.

Omg, what a great book store! Talked to the people who work there and they were incredibly kind. Took photos for my book page (brewing reads) and bought an amazing mug from them. 100% will be back. I love book stores on Buffalo!

Oh goodness. This is the definition of a charming old house turned bookshoppe. I felt like I must have wandered through the wrong door but every nook and cranny had new delights for the literary type. Including a fine selection of pens and notebooks, suggesting perhaps, you might try your own hand at the thing. You likely have stories to tell! Today I will tell you a story of how I got to visit this sweet spot, whose shop-keeper not only sold me books but also appears to be a local guide on the best local grub-hubs! Don't be made shy by the classy atmosphere, there is kindness and something for everyone here. A gem!
