More like 4.5 stars if I could be more specific! Recently gave up on my regular nail salon of 12 years for a number of reasons, and was advised to try Bliss instead. Booked a full set— almond French with chrome. I tend to be pretty picky about my nails, but Liam did a fantastic job. He was super attentive to detail and really took his time making sure they were shaped perfectly. I never felt rushed out, and it seemed like he really cared about how they turned out, however, it was pretty much empty in there so I don’t know how much this affected my treatment or if I would’ve have the same experience in a busier shop. My only two (maybe picky) complaints are: 1. I wish the chrome would have been a little more noticeable, maybe an extra layer would have been nice since it is a pricey upcharge. 2. Maybe something more entertaining on the TVs. There was some kind of slow, British history show playing completely silently, which might be someone’s thing, but it was putting me to sleep! Hahaha. I tend to get antsy getting my nails done, so it’s nice to be distracted by a fun movie or show.
Im SUPER picky on designs, shape, thickness and how long the "shine" lasts on my nails and Bliss blows it out of the park every time. I just started going to them on a whim from needing my nails done for an event and I was so pleased with how they turned out that Ive continued to go every 2-3 wks since. They're pleasant, easy to book an appt and even cancel or reschedule online which is SO nice and the place is always so clean/inviting. Everytime I get my nails done I always have people that ask me where I go! Ive never had that before. I go to David and his attention to detail and line work on designs is FLAWLESS! They are all great! I typically would have had atleast one chip or break by now, I type sometimes 10 hrs a day and im got easy on my nails cooking and cleaning but nope nothing yet. I cant recommend them enough, thanks Bliss :)
I went to get my wedding nails done and had a great experience! I got Gel-X nails done by Liam. Four weeks later, I got those nails filled and got a Christmas design. Liam can make fantastic custom nail art and hand painted the candy canes, gingerbread man, and holly for my Christmas nails. Both times, the nails held up very well. I was (carefully) digging in my garden, opening packages, cleaning, and doing yard work and the nails didn’t even get a scratch! Other than growing out, they look good as new.
Absolutely love this place! I’ve gone here for the last three times and always come out happy. My most recent set was a blue cat eye done by Lily who did an amazing job and was incredibly nice and funny. My first two sets were a black French tip with gems and then a dark purpley brown color both done by Cindy who is also amazing and nice! This place is extremely welcoming and will make sure you’re done right!
Bliss Nail Bar has been an amazing experience! I don't normally get my nails done but did throughout this year for my wedding. I had been to two other places in Madison, and they hadn't wow-ed me. I gave Bliss a try for my wedding nails that would be a bit detailed. David did an amazing job on them. I couldn't stop staring at them the entire time! I also got some daisies for summer and another set for my reception later in the summer. All turned out perfect! For the reception, I also did a pedicure with a friend and they look and felt amazing! The best part about Bliss is the high customer service they provide. I watched folks come in and out and they remembered so much about them. They all were so happy about my nails/wedding. Highly suggest Bliss! It'll be a while before I get nails again, but they have become my go to!
