I scheduled an up do and eye makeup for a holiday party I was attending. In total this was only supposed be 1.5 hour appointment. At first we were going to do a low side bun with some face framing pieces and curls, but for some reason the bun was not working out. So we tried to switch to a side ponytail with some curls. The side ponytail was also a disaster. At this point we were pushing 1.5 hours and the stylist offered to wash and give me a blow out instead of an up do. But I drove all the way to this location to specially have an up do, I can do a blowout myself at home. So I suggested doing a high pony tail thinking that would be easy, but the stylist took it upon herself to switch over to a high bun and at that point I had been there for over 2 hours. Finally we landed on a high ponytail that worked. The same stylist was also supposed to do my eye makeup but at that point was already behind with appointments and was unable to find anyone else free to do eye makeup. So I walked out with no eye makeup and an okay high ponytail after almost 3 hours. The only reason I’m not giving 1 star is because everything was comped. I won’t be returning to this location and would not recommend anyone getting an updo done here.

Very bad didn’t listen to what I wanted and didn’t have a large curling iron…I paid to have my hair done only to have to redo it myself for a very special event. My “curls” fell out before I even got home

I hate to leave a negative review for local businesses but feel the need to warn others to look for other options. I had a wash and blowout over a week ago. I didn’t have high expectations, just needed clean hair as I had surgery the previous week and wasn’t able to wash my hair very well quite yet. The Stylist used so much leave product in my hair despite me asking her to be very light on it. Immediately after I expressed my disappointment that it appeared greasy. It was weighed down, lacked volume, and appeared to be clumped together. I’m not a hard person to please with the hairstyle, but when I got home, my sister asked if I had even gotten my hair done. She then helped me to rewash it and style it right after. More so, I had gotten highlights the previous month and the clarifying shampoo that the stylist used completely stripped my toner. I did mention not to use the clarifying shampoo, but she said that it won’t damage anything. Thankfully, the salon where I got my highlights done, was able to get me in to get this toner redone. Since the service, it has been over a week and I have tried five separate times to get in touch with a manager or owner to talk about my experience and see what went wrong and where. I have been ignored and not reached out to once. It’s just kind of upsetting to leave money at an institution that treats their customers so poorly. I’ll attach of the hair as soon as I got home from the service. This was my first and last time at this establishment.
