I had my 2022 taxes filed here, and to summarize: The good: every professional who works here is kind and clearly wants to help. I had a positive experience with every single person that I spoke with, and would recommend Zach Graves as a private accountant. He was personable, knowledgeable, efficient, and a pleasure to be around. I also commend this office for how quickly they were able to see me, even at the end of tax season. The filing itself went very well. The bad: there is a “peace of mind” insurance fee that is not fully transparent, and according to other professionals I spoke with afterwords, isn’t wholly necessary. The price to file a simple tax return is in-line with contemporaries in the area, but the transparency of the process is not. My 10 am appointment was rescheduled a few minutes before, when I was almost there, and the online portal proved to be difficult to use and upload my documents to. I received a voicemail from the office the following day, but despite attempting to return it just 30 minutes later, I was given multiple different times to call back. I appreciate their being busy at the end of tax season, but not knowing when things would happen consumed extra time that wasn’t necessary to waste. I signed up for 1 hour of time yesterday morning, but it turned into a two day process. The people who work for Block Advisors are fantastic, every single one of them. Block Advisors as an entity, however, while helpful in a pinch, is not the best option for tax preparation.

We are very impressed with our new tax preparer, Marty Linz. She found errors with previous returns and competently addressed them. She also gave us good advice to maximize our future tax returns.

The first time we went to this location (4 years ago) tax preparer was extremely helpful and so helpful that we continue to see her every year. She has been nothing but extremely professional and done all she could to assist us in this process. Contrary to the previous posts, we did not feel like we were prejudiced because we have an average income and not among the affluent and wealthy. She treated us like we were her valued customer and we felt very comfortable and well treated while we were there. Bill and Michelle Smith
