Had the pleasure of visiting this charming clinic today with my cat nephew Danté. Each member of the staff was amazing to deal with: kind and professional, with an obvious love for animals. Nothing unnecessary was pushed and the prices charged were fair. I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic! A few weeks ago I brought my dog Prince to Blue Animal hospital as he was in very poor condition. The first time I called to inform them about his health they were very busy and booked right up that day. I assured them it was urgent and that anything they could do would be appreciated. After expressing my concerns briefly, not a second was wasted and the lovely team saw Prince within half hour of calling. Not only did they make him priority, they also went above and beyond to keep me fully informed as well as comforted me during this hard time. I appreciate both Dr. Kate and Dr. Olivia's efforts and the full supporting team who assisted in keeping Prince comfortable and happy as sick as he was. Both doctors put themselves in my shoes and were nothing but compassionate and honest from the start. It pains me to say that my boy did not make it due to organ failure he was experiencing before getting to the vet and I had to put him down. The team all assured me that Prince touched all of them and had a fan club even for the short amount of time he was there. In memory of Prince, Blue Cross Animal Hospital donated to Brant Conservation Pet Sanctuary and as if this was not enough doctor Kate sent me a lovely card as well. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for all the lovely staff at this hospital. As I said before you are all angels and I would recommend anyone and everyone with a furry family member to come here for all their pets health needs!
Been going here decades. Love the staff : lots of ladies, from surgeons to vets to techs to front desk… Truly know your fur babies and love them too. I’ve never felt pushed for anything but the necessary things: they give you all the info & let you make and informed decision. 💙💜
I have been going to Blue Cross since moving back to Hamilton almost 10 years ago. Every person and vet we have been supported by is clearly both an animal and people person! Recently I brought in both my cats for their annual check up, scratched up by one of my fur babies during the carrier process...and a vet tech provided me with care for my scratches. Not required. Not requested. Just because thats what they do. I also have never felt I have overspent, overall medicated, or been given recommendations for my pets that had profit first in mind. Thank yoy Blue Cross!
Every experience I have had here over the past five months has been wonderful! The staff has gone above and beyond to help me provide the best care possible for my cat, as a first time cat owner. Pricing for appointments and procedures are explained thoroughly. They always do their best to accommodate my cat's timid nature, allowing us to enter the appointment room a little early when available so he can settle in.
