Incredibly kind gallery owners with an amazing selection of art. I LOVED the gallery party I attended here and it was amazing to hear the artist, Rich Bowman, speak live on his collection and what drives him to create. I loved how they also had a smaller collection of more affordable art for those who might be budget conscious when shopping for art. If you are looking for unique, upscale art for your space, this is where you need to go!

If you’re looking for top local artists, Blue Gallery is the place to go. Kelly and her team guide you through the entire curation process with care and expertise. You can often meet the artists during First Fridays and special ‘Meet the Artist’ nights. They also host inspiring ‘Women Who Create’ events, celebrating the work and voices of female artists — a true hub for art and community!

Blue Gallery is a hug of inspiring, thoughtfully curated art and artists. I’m always finding pieces that continue to move me long after they’re placed in my home. I especially love December’s Wonderwall exhibition and their print shop if you’re looking for art on a budget. They also offer layaway, which I used once to purchase a larger piece. They truly care about making art accessible to all. The founder, Kelly, also represents several local and female artists, which I love. The Blue Gallery is, hands down, one of the best galleries not only in Kansas City, but just about anywhere. I have been lucky enough to acquire several pieces from them and still love seeing them in my home everyday. Their holiday Wonder Wall is the best place to shop for gifts for the holidays (I always get something for my daughter). The owners are just about the kindest people you will ever meet and they have a gift of making you feel welcome and at ease in the prettiest space in the downtown Crossroads neighborhood; truly, the loveliest people to work with.

Blue Gallery is incredible! I purchased my very first original artwork through Kelly 20 years ago and, to this day, am still in love with it and the many other pieces I’ve purchased through the gallery. Kelly and her team go above and beyond to ensure your visit is comfortable, fun, and engaging—whether you’re just looking around or ready to buy. I trust them completely when it comes to art. They know art and artists. Their support of their artists, as well as their commitment to Kansas City’s arts community, sets them apart. They’re transparent and authentic always posting their pricing—not all galleries do this. Kelly and her team are genuinely committed to listening. They know and appreciate that the art we collect is an expression of ourselves so they’re more than willing to spend the time it takes to make sure you and the art connect. When it comes to installation, Kelly is THE master. Since I buy art I love rather than trying to find pieces that match a décor, I have a very eclectic collection. I couldn’t imagine how she was going to pull it all together. But she did!!! Investing in her expertise was worth every single cent. I’m so in love with it I haven’t moved a single piece. I absolutely LOVE this gallery!!!
