Amazing, amazing, amazing! From the first time we enquired, to the pre wedding shoot, to all the communication leading up to our big day, and then the wedding day itself. Steve and Sharon were fantastic. Friendly, down to earth, made sure we were comfortable throughout the day and made our day so enjoyable (thanks for the banter and laughter). Our wedding crew and guests were also impressed, speaking highly of both Steve and Sharon. From the moment my husband and I met Steve and Sharon at the wedding expo, we knew they would be the perfect fit for our special day. They kindly agreed to travel all the way from Canberra to K’gari to photograph our wedding, and from our pre-wedding shoot through to the wedding day itself, the entire process was seamless. They made everything feel so easy and completely stress-free. On the day of our wedding, everything ran incredibly smoothly with Steve and Sharon there. They were right on schedule, which was especially important to me, and having both of them capturing every moment was an absolute pleasure. Everyone who interacted with them couldn’t speak highly enough of how wonderful, friendly, and professional they were. Steve and Sharon were genuinely lovely people from beginning to end. We feel incredibly lucky to have had Steve and Sharon from BlueGinger Photography capture our wedding on 6 November 2025. From the very beginning they went above and beyond for us. In the early planning stages, when another photographer fell through for our engagement shoot, Steve stepped in without hesitation and helped us create something even better than we expected. That kindness set the tone for everything that followed. On our wedding day they brought such a lovely, calming energy. They made us feel completely comfortable and handled every moment with warmth and professionalism. They were fantastic at guiding our family and friends, wrangling kids with ease and even getting our dog to cooperate for the photos. It felt like they truly understood us and what mattered to us. We were blown away when we received a beautiful selection of photos the very next morning. Being able to relive those moments so quickly meant so much to us. They captured the day pefectly from all the pics of the stunning Catholic Church, The Knoll and its majestic surrounds and the Surf Club reception. Steve and Sharon photographed my wedding in March 2025. I met them at the Wedding Expo, and from get-go I was drawn to them because of their kindness and easy-going nature, which is what I wanted and was looking for. In the lead up to the wedding Steve was so fantastic in communicating with us, and at times I think he was more prepared than I was! We were both nervous about being on the other side of the camera, but after doing the pre-shoot a few weeks ahead, our concerns were completely gone. Steve made it so easy. On the day Steve and Sharon brought a calming energy, and they were both so lovely to work with and to be around. We had a wonderful time capturing couple portraits after the ceremony, and we were able to get some portrait shots that we love so much. They didn’t seem to stop, busily snapping away all night. We got so many wonderful (and funny) photos from the night that we will be able to look back on for years. I would highly recommend Blue Ginger to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in the region.
