Most of the goods were gone by the time we arrived, probably because everything tastes so good. We bought a pack of English muffins and returned for a 2nd pack after trying one. The spinach cheddar scone was amazing according to my spouse

Visiting Ohio for the first time, I kept hearing about Blue Oven Bakery, and when I arrived, the crowd outside already said it all. Even though the line was long, I decided to wait — and it was absolutely worth it. While waiting, I spoke to a local customer who told me, “This is the best bakery in town, you can’t miss it.” After trying it myself, I completely agree. I ordered a little bit of everything: a Danish, donut, focaccia, salted soft pretzel, scone, and a slider. Every single item was excellent — fresh, soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. The Danish was perfectly balanced, the donut was light and not overly sweet, the focaccia was fragrant with just the right chew, the pretzel had that satisfying salty bite, the scone was tender, and the slider was deliciously satisfying. The quality here is truly impressive, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the baking. It’s rare to find a bakery where every item is consistently this good. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area — it’s absolutely worth the wait in line.

the focaccia here is delicious, a must-have every time i’m in cincy. pretzels are also great, even as someone who doesn’t usually enjoy them!

We always pick something up when we’re at the Northside farmers market. It’s so freaking good. Garlic focaccia is fragrant and mouth watering. English muffins make for the perfect morning sandwich. You can’t go wrong with anything they bake. The staff who come out even on scorching summer days are always kind and helpful too! Awesome humans all around making awesome breads! Thanks and keep it up. Also thank you for coming to Northside!

They have a great bread variety here (savory, sweet, herby, etc.) with plenty I'd want to try. You can pre-order online (3 days in advance minimum), but there was plenty of everything in stock when I walked in at noon. I went with a "bad boy" (seeded sourdough) loaf, per a friend's recommendation. It was soft, a little herby, and had a nice crust, but was still soft enough to pull apart with my hands and slice w/o a bread knife. Their loaves are huge, so your money's worth. Stored at room temp, I didn't notice any dropoff in freshness until day 3. It toasted pretty well, too. I'll be back to try more.
