We stayed at an amazing home on Mission Beach in San Diego. The house was spotless and was a great layout. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. I highly recommend this rental company and their house in Mission Beach!
The house was perfect for us. We loved having a water view from every room and a comfortable area for us to be together. The balconies & outside eating areas were a good place to hang out. We have never rented a house that provided as much cleaning supplies & paper products. The location was convenient & we could walk to a number of restaurants & the grocery store. Our Thanksgiving dinner in the house was delightful! Thanks to the management for the welcoming basket filled with useful goodies!
We had the pleasure of staying at "B5411 Goldenview" on Point Loma for 5 days/nights Home was virtually brand new. It had thoughtful upscale modern design with lots of fun things to discover. The art choice and appointments within were beautiful and quite complimentary as well. The neighborhood was fantastic and relatively exclusive, which was nice. The home's expansive kitchen/living area is separated perfectly from the bedrooms and showcases a gorgeous harbor/downtown view. From the bright daylight blue hues to the twinkling evening lights, it would NEVER get old. At the south end of the house off the master suite, there is another view which spans the southwestern spread of Coronado Island (and the military base), out to the Pacific open waters towards Mexico. Most everything worked well in the home and was quite enjoyable to use. The major issue was that for our entire week, there was some water pipe (upgrade) work happening on the street side immediately adjacent to the property. Jackhammering got a little rough for many hours per day, and it was EVERY day. At one point the water had to be shut down for 4 hours to allow connection to the new pipe feeding the house. And of course THAT was the day we had planned dinner out to celebrate two birthdays and an anniversary. 😐 After consideration and discussion with a friend who manages many vacation rentals here in Scottsdale, I have to dock a star seeing as this is a $1K per night property, and Bluewater seems to think the remedy is to simply say "we apologize for the inconvenience." Hopefully, if we make it back, that week will be a bit quieter! Please note that for the most part, Bluewater was great - they were at ready for any questions/issues we had... and the property (sans noise and banging) was an absolute jewel! UPDATE: Bluewater has reached out to us and offered a suitable resolution for the construction/noise issues during our stay. Very commendable on their part. Bumped from 4 to 5 stars!
This place is AMAZING!!! You simply cannot ask for a more perfect ocean front home then the Beach Front Modern on Ocean Blvd in Pacific Beach. It has all the comforts of home. Including a lot of spices, oils and some dried goods like rice. We were welcomed with a goodie bag that included a bottle of wine 😊 The views from the living room are to die for!! Especially at sunset! Falling asleep to the crashing waves of the ocean was a dream, and waking up to them with a morning cup of coffee was even better! The bathrooms/bathtubs in this place are heavenly and the beds/pillows were beyond comfortable. There are so many beach front places to eat and drink at and they're all within walking distance. We were about 20 minutes outside of Little Italy and Old Town (to put things in perspective) We were able to park our Chevy 2500HD short bed truck and our son's 350Z in the driveway. We did have to park our truck a little sideways but it wasn't an issue. They have a stackable washer and dryer, and lots of beach accessories. The fridge was more than spacious and the ice maker produced plenty of ice. The staff at Bluewater were very helpful! I'd like to thank, Natalia, Richelle, Max and Chris (maintenance) for their kind attention to detail and their assistance. We have found a slice of heaven right in our own backyard and we can hardly wait to come back! Thanks again for a most memorable stay 😁
The property really is as the pictures shows. Absolutely beautiful! It was a perfectly sized for my family of eight and they included plenty of bath towels, as well as plenty of beach towels. Along with plenty of storage so we didn’t have bags all over the place. The washer and dryer was nice although the dryer did take a few runs to fully dry our towels, but I took that as perfectly Acceptable because the state itself has so much humidity. I expected to hear a lot of noise from the boardwalk considering we were so close, but the place was pretty soundproof. It really was just a wonderful stay from my family and probably the best place we’ve ever rented. Checking in and out was very easy and the Bluewater team was very responsive when we did have an issue with some ants in the bathroom. They were immediate, I mean within hours, available to send somebody to lay ant traps. So that was nice! I will definitely rent with Bluewater again as I know they have a lot of really nice properties and management is very easy to work with. My family and I thank you for the great experience!
