⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding care and kindness shown to my beloved pit bull, Miley, by Aaron Costilla and the wonderful team at Bluff Boarding Kennels & Cattery. A few nights ago, during a thunderstorm, Miley decided to pull a Houdini and escape through our front door. My son (11), daughter (8), and I immediately set out on foot to find her; however, we quickly realized that her muscular, albeit short, legs could outpace us. After searching our neighborhood and surrounding streets late into the night with no luck, we had to call it a night; our hearts filled with worry for our furry family member. The thought of her out there in the storm was terrifying; all we could do was hope she would be found. The next morning, we sprang back into action, posting her picture across social media and neighborhood apps. Our hearts soared when, at 4:02 PM, I received a notification from 24Petwatch that Miley had been located through her microchip, thanks to Aaron at Bluff Boarding Kennels! As soon as I called Aaron to confirm that Miley was safe, my kids and I rushed to the kennel, just 11 minutes away. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a caring team who had obviously taken exceptional care of our girl. Not only did they reunite us; Aaron also took the time to share invaluable leash training tips and informed me about a smart collar with a tracking device that he personally uses on his own Houdini dog; he was in no way trying to sell me one. When I tried to offer compensation for keeping Miley overnight, they vehemently refused anything and said it was their pleasure to have kept her safe for us. While we talked, the staff showed my kids around, introducing them to an adorable rabbit and a cat that resembled Puss in Boots, complete with the same big round eyes. Their kindness and attention to detail truly left a lasting impression on us.
