Where to even begin... My best friend hired Blush & Braids two years ago for her wedding and did the bridal party's hair and makeup. I was blown away by how perfect, natural, and long lasting both services were! Obviously when I got engaged and secured a wedding date, they were the first people I reached out to! Milan & Sarah are so sweet, kind, and friendly and truly want to help make you feel your absolute best. At my trial I experimented with extensions and styles I had never really done, and they were very accommodating and supportive when it ended up not being exactly what I wanted for my day of. They listened to what I liked, wanted, and helped create a look for me that was PERFECT! On my wedding day, they were ready to go, kept us ahead of schedule, and truly felt like a part of my getting ready "crew". They were jumping into conversations with us and jamming to our getting ready playlist, truly matching the good vibes we were trying to have. Everyone looked gorgeous, my bridal hair style was incredibly comfortable, and everyone's hair & makeup lasted through hours of dancing, and even through some late night snacks at the afters. I highly highly recommend Blush & Braids for any event you are wanting to look and feel your best at!
Beyond thrilled that I worked with Blush and Braids Beauty Bar for my wedding. Sarah and team had been MU & Hair for my best friend's wedding and I had the pleasure of working with them as a wedding coordinator as well. From my trial through the wedding day Sarah did the best job with my makeup and Rafaela made my hair flawless. Thank you to the rest of the team as well - my family and bridesmaids looked stunning. I had the absolute best experience with Blush and Braids for my wedding! They were amazing from start to finish - so easy to work with, professional, and right on time the morning of. Every single person in my bridal party loved their makeup, and that included a group with a range of cultural backgrounds. My mom and my mother-in-law were both very nervous to get their hair/makeup done and they both ended up loving their looks. The team listened carefully and took real-time feedback into account to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy with every detail of their look. Our hair and makeup lasted flawlessly all day and night - even after being outside in the heat, dancing, and sweating, everything still looked fresh. The touch up kits were perfect as well. As the bride, I received so many compliments on how natural and beautiful my makeup was. I can’t recommend Blush and Braids enough for any bride looking for a talented, professional, and thoughtful glam team!
Sarah W. is not only a sweetheart, but a magician!!! I was lucky enough to not only book makeup services for my wedding day, but Sarah was also available to do my bridal trial for my bridal shower. She asked great questions and really got to see my vision on how I wanted to look on my big day, was able to make any tweaks I requested, which was very minimal considering how detailed she was, and made sure that I still felt like myself - just elevated! My wedding day was no different and Sarah made me, my bridesmaids, and my mother look absolutely beautiful. I couldn't be happier with her services and the overall communication and check-ins I received leading up to the wedding. It definitely put my mind at ease knowing we were in such great hands.
