This is an amazing bookstore that has a great selection of both old and new books. The staff here are super helpful and always willing to help you find what you're looking for. They don't just sell books. They have records and a fun selection of toys as well. They also have some rarer books and toys in the glass cabinet behind the staircase on the first floor.

BMV Books is one of my favourite spots in Toronto. Great prices, tons of hidden gems, and a chill vibe that makes you want to browse for hours. Staff are friendly and helpful without hovering. A must-visit for book lovers.

My absolute favorite place to get lost in and lose track of time, whenever I’ve been to Toronto I went at least 3-4 times. They have a big and great offer of all sorts of titles and genres, newer releases as well as old ones, at amazing prices. It’s a bookworm’s heaven, definitely go check it out! (And prepare to spend more money than you planned to, most offers are too good to be passed on 😅)

I can browse here for hours. This bookstore is massive and it is so interesting to walk around for book lovers. It’s super cute and staff are really nice. The prices are not the lowest - there’s definitely cheaper used bookstores around the town but this place is still reasonable for convenience and variety. If you buy books, this store is a must to visit

Smashing IT! 📚🤓📚 One of the best and largest bookstores in Toronto. Very an amazing variety of books from Classic Literature, Canadian Writers, True Crime, DIY, History, Sports, Fiction, Fantasy, Sci-FY, Autobiographies, Children's Books and so much more. You can spend hours in this bookstore and completely lose yourself in the magical space that all book lovers enjoy to do. No matter how rare or what genre they more than likely have it. If they don't, they're sure to help you with ordering it for you. BMV Books definitely has something for all types of readers. So if you're in the mood for a new book or just want to browse, then this is definitely the place for you. Nestled in the heart of Bloor Street West near Bathurst Street. Its location is easy to get to.
