I give two stars because the experience itself was fantastic. Otherwise it would be one star. Honesty and integrity go a long way and they have neither. My wife won a certificate at a charity auction a couple years ago for their signature service. According to that certificate, at the time, it was a $60 value. Today it's more like a $78 value. The certificate had no expiration date on it. We live in Rowlett so there is no Boardroom anywhere nearby. I finally had a time where I was going to be in Addison so I scheduled an appointment. I get there and they refuse to accept the certificate. Instead they gave me 25% off. I was already there and needed a haircut so I went ahead and did it. The services above and beyond the haircut that are included were very nice and probably worth every penny. In this case it's the principal of the matter. At the end of my service they gave me another 25% off coupon for next time. I don't intend to go back. It's the principle of the matter. I choose to do business with honest people. This certificate wasn't a coupon. It had no expiration date on it. This was a voucher good for a specific service that had been included in a cherry auction. They chose not to honor it. If they had said that prices have gone up and they wanted to charge me the difference, I would have been okay with that. I still would have tipped based on the full value. In fact I did tip the entire 25% discount that they gave me. The stylist shouldn't be punished for dishonest management. But to outright refuse their own material is truly dishonest and I won't be back.

Diana was spectacular. My hair looks fresh and I am refreshed. The benchmark with Diana is highly recommended. The entire staff at the boardroom in Addison is outstanding. Michelle was helpful and added to the experience. Hats off to the Boardroom in Addison.

My hair had grown out long over the summer and it was time for a change. I rolled the dice and scheduled a Benchmark service at the Addison location for any stylist that was available for my appointment. As serendipity would have it, Kandi was my stylist for the evening. I've been going to the Boardroom for over a decade, across several locations and Kandi performed the best service I've experienced in years. I showed her an old photo of a hairstyle I wanted to recreate and she understood the assignment. Kandi was meticulous yet swift and walked me through her thought process during my hair cut. The hand wax dip along with the hand/arm massage, and scalp massage with shampoo/conditioning was superb. The hot towel service was also the perfect temperature for my taste. I was very impressed and 110% satisfied with my service this evening. I will absolutely be returning to give her my business.

I just moved to Texas, found this gem, and will be coming back here for a long time. Really awesome experience from start to finish. Classy joint, very well done. Super friendly staff, offered me a drink and everything. Cindy just hooked me up with maybe the best haircut I’ve ever had. Really nice and personable too, perfect hair cut and scalp massage experience. She informed me about the membership options but super low key didn’t try to sell me at all. Answered my questions, then boom - I signed up for the executive membership unlimited package. I’m so stoked - this place is exactly what I was looking for and more. Thanks y’all!
