I'm not sure why I haven't reviewed Bob's before. We've been coming here for years. Tonight we celebrated 3 family birthdays and everyone said it was the best steak they've ever had. I have had company parties here and the one thing I can say is they are consistently good. I have never had a bad meal here. The restaurant is quiet enough you can have a conversation and enjoy an amazing meal. I prefer this over Capital or Perry's. Would highly recommend for a romantic dinner or corporate meeting.
We loved our dining experience. Our server Cheryl was so kind, attentive, personable and gave us great suggestions. Our food was superb. We can't wait to come back.
Disappointing visit to Bob’s Steak & Chop House. The meal started fine with bread brought out quickly, but it took nearly 10 minutes before our server checked in. Two of the meals were served promptly, but my duck dish came out late — and unfortunately, completely cold. The duck, potatoes, carrots, and even the gravy were all room temperature at best. After sending it back, the plate returned clearly reheated. The duck was now overcooked and dry, the potatoes hot but mushy, and the carrots unevenly warm. Overall, the pacing and coordination of the service felt off all evening. For a restaurant with this reputation, it was a poor experience and not worth the premium price. Note: pictures from the reheat.disappointing.
Bob’s is nothing short of exceptional. The atmosphere is elegant & welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a night out or a special occasion. The service was top-notch, attentive, friendly & professional from start to finish. Every dish we tried was delicious, beautifully presented & full of flavor. The drinks were just as impressive, crafted with care & perfectly balanced. Highly recommend Bob’s to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience. Can’t wait to come back!
Bob’s Steak & Chop House | Fort Worth, TX Come for the steak, stay for the carrot that changed your life. 🥩🥕🍸 So, full disclosure: this is not my usual scene. I was armed with a client gift card and a glowing recommendation, and suddenly I found myself strutting into Bob’s—smack in the middle of Fort Worth nightlife—tucked inside a hotel that smells like old money, mood lighting, and ambition. It’s rich. It’s wealthy. It’s trendy in that “I wear tailored suits and don’t ask about prices” kind of way. And honestly? I ate it up—literally and figuratively. Let’s talk about the jar of pickled things. Yes, it’s real. No, it’s not a gimmick. Yes, I would go back for it. Crunchy, salty, tangy—like the bitey little bouquet you didn’t know your steak dinner needed. Now—brace yourself—the carrot. I saw it coming like a jump scare. A whole, giant carrot. Just... lounging on the plate like it pays rent. I judged it HARD. Then I took a bite. And suddenly I was in a full emotional standoff with the best carrot I’ve ever tasted. Tender. Sweet. Glazed like a dream. I hate how much I loved it. Bob’s carrot agenda is strong and I am no longer resistant. The steak? Absolute perfection. Juicy, well-seasoned, and exactly what you’d expect from a place that’s built its reputation on meat. The drinks were a bit on the lighter side (like they’re assuming you drove a BMW here and don’t need to black out), but flavorful and paired beautifully with the meal. Bob’s is luxurious without being stuffy, elevated without trying too hard, and honestly? Worth every dramatic bite. Not my usual haunt, but I might just become the kind of person who dines under mood lighting and fears vegetables no longer.
