Update: it's been several weeks since I made the below review and, unlike other establishments, they have never shown the professional courtesy of apologizing - or responding at all, so that really speaks volumes as to the lack of appropriate customer service they should be giving. ____________________________________ Our friend Jason treated six of us to dinner here, a night we’d all been anticipating for weeks. Unfortunately, the entire *3+ hours* experience was disappointing. Even though our reservation had been made weeks in advance and we arrived early, we still waited more than 15 minutes past our scheduled time to be seated. With no proper waiting area, part of our group stood pressed against a counter near the crowded bar, while the rest had their backs against the entrance partition, as the crowd consistently walked through. Once seated, drinks arrived promptly, but our server said she'd only take appetizer orders, despite us being ready to order dinner. (Btw, the Petite Lobster Tails were scrawny - there was twice as much sauce as lobster meat.) From appetizers to entrées, the wait stretched to nearly *2 ½ hours*! While a portion of the food was above average, the overall quality did not justify the excessive delay. Having dined at many upscale restaurants across the country, I’ve never experienced such slow service. I'm sorry our friend wasted his money there. Needless to say, we won’t be returning. Thankfully, there are other high-end local restaurants where each of us has consistently enjoyed excellent service, so our next group outing will be at one of those.
We made a reservation at Del Frisco’s to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was an excellent choice. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was attentive without being overwhelming. I had a vodka martini with a twist, and it was perfectly made—simple, clean, and delicious. For my meal, I ordered my steak rare, which many steakhouses struggle to get right, but this one was truly rare and cooked exactly the way I like it. The atmosphere was beautiful, elegant, and surprisingly easy to carry on a conversation with friends. It felt special without being stuffy. The only drawback is the price. It is definitely on the higher end—we averaged over $150 per person. But for a celebration or a special night out, the experience, quality, and flawless execution make it worth it. Overall, Del Frisco’s delivered a memorable evening with incredible food, excellent service, and a refined atmosphere.
The experience at Del Frisco’s is very consistent, from the valet opening your door to the seating. I have taken my wife for her birthday the past three years, it’s always spot on. Polite well versed servers with knowledge of the menu is always a plus. And to top it off, it won’t absolutely wreck your bank account as long as you keep the drinks to a minimum.
This was the first time me and my wife were able to be alone since our son was born! The food was excellent and our waitress was amazing! She took very good care of us! I believe her name was Cameron. We sat in a back room in the corner. She really made our experience wonderful and we will have to plan another trip to come back! Also the butter cake is the best way to finish the meal! It's better than the mousse cake(which was good too)!
This place is sophisticated, grand, and an all around superior dining experience. From the moment you walk in, you just feel classy! We stopped in during Restaurant Week and not only had phenomenal service and food, but the price was also incredible! Our Server Glen was attentive, and super personable. He made the experience just that much better! Each course was fantastic. The salads were divine, the Filet was cooked perfectly, and the Butter Cake for dessert was incredible. Just a lovely time. I’ll be back next week to take advantage of the restaurant week menu once more!
