After purchasing the BoConcept Alicante dining table, my actual user experience has been very disappointing. Within one day of use, I noticed a clear design issue: there is a visible gap between the ceramic tabletop and the base. Food and liquid easily get trapped in this gap and it is almost impossible to clean, which raises serious hygiene concerns, especially for households with children. I contacted BoConcept to request a return. I was informed that this issue is not considered a manufacturing defect, and therefore a full refund was refused. While it may not be a manufacturing issue, this type of design is simply not suitable for a dining table used daily.

Harrods store staff are very polite, attentive, and professional. I had previously spoken with my namesake Melika, and I was very impressed with her approach. Later, one evening, I happened to pass by and happened to glance at his and started talking to the store's general manager, Darius. Within 10 minutes, I had made my purchase and left the store very happy. Even though I was exhausted and fed up, he cheered me up with a glass of prossecco, and my sister and I left the store satisfied and grateful.

Customer service from Harrods team is excellent but poor from boconcept themselves. Spent around 10k, the company happy to replace pieces but the items replaced was even worse than the first, would advise to opt for a higher class branding which you can find in Harrods than boconcept (which in terms of cost is cheapest) - be worth it in the long run. ****

TLDR: charged several thousand pounds for curtains that have visible hooks and a track at all times, with an inch+ gap between the curtains and bracket, and a foot off the wall with light spillage. Photos show their final product... I paid several thousand pounds for BoConcepts to install curtains to cover 2 windows in 2024, and the experience was a complete rip off. The install looks nothing like what was agreed (i.e. a discrete curtain track). The track, brackets, and even the curtain hooks are all fully visible at all times (even when closed), making the whole setup look cheap and unfinished. Even after showing the photos that clearly show the poor work, they state that the work is fully up to standard. To make matters worse, I ended a trip abroad early specifically for the install, and they messed up the install on the first visit -- quite literally having the curtains over a foot off the wall, letting all light out through the side. They had to come back to fix their own mistakes due to the installers being clueless on the job. When I pointed out that the final result didn’t match what was agreed, they claimed it was “to their standard” and refused to take any responsibility from day one. This infuriates me as I very clearly showed multiple BoConcept employees the curtains on identical windows in my building, which had fully covered tracks and hooks, and they promised they could replicate. Photos of this were even in my agreed scope of work with them.They then completely ghosted me. This was a huge waste of time and money. The service was poor from start to finish, and they clearly don’t stand by their work. I wouldn’t recommend BoConcepts to anyone looking for quality or accountability.

We had such a positive experience with Boconcept Harrods. Darius really took the time to understand our needs. To ensure we made the best choice, he suggested the interior designer service and sent a very experienced interior designer, Jahan, to our home. Jahan spent so much time with us, gave us great advice on how to decorate our space. I really recommend Boconcept Harrods as they do really care about their customers.
