Cute small place with a neat atmosphere. A group of us were in Fort Worth for work and we stopped here for an hour or so one night. We played a card game at the table that we got off the shelf. We ordered some grazing boards and some drinks. I love that they sell cocktails in capri sun bags.
Good food but I agree with other people that a panini with not a ton of meat inside for the turkey & Brie should be priced at $18…should’ve been much cheaper based on size. The staff was very nice & welcoming but overpriced sandwiches
I went for a lil bite… and left obsessed. 💕✨ Bodega South Main in Fort Worth is that spot. I ordered the Cuban Panini and baby… it was pressed perfectly crispy on the outside, warm and melty on the inside, and packed with flavor in every bite. The balance was on point (not dry, not greasy, just right), and it’s the kind of sandwich that has you sitting there like “okay… one more bite” until it’s gone. 😭🔥 The vibe was cute and the service was fast, so it’s an easy stop whether you’re grabbing lunch or doing a little South Main food run. 10/10 I’m coming back.
I had the Cuban, and my wife went with the Italian sausage, kale, and sweet potato soup — she was still raving about it 20 minutes later! A savory blend that worked perfectly together. She asked for some crackers and was given homemade croutons — that’s a winner. My Cuban was good, just a touch sweeter than expected, and we finished things off with a couple of cookies. That old-time Southside charm is all over this bodega and the area.
Fresh buns and sliced roasted beef were just sitting there, and they even had carrot cake for dessert! That was my lunch. The staff was awesome, and since it was after 2 PM, the place was super quiet. It was a bit pricey, but totally worth it.
