I was privileged to get to spend several months in Zack / Zaza’s men’s group. What a nourishing experience it was. Zack brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion and Somatica awareness to his leadership. Each member is invited to take part in cocreating our journey together whatever level feels good to them. There is a fine line between pushing enough to expand our limits and get us out of our comfort zones while also maintaining safety. Zach does like quite well. He offered not only opportunities to express what lives within us but also to notice and learn from where we feel it in our bodies. And speaking of bodies, he nourishes those too with tea and a wide variety of snacks. If I was not moving out of the area, I would be back for more. I’m glad I got to join for the time I was able and if you’ve been looking for someone to support deeper explorations of your inner world, I can highly recommend joining this group.
Zach masterfully organizes men’s group sessions, providing a safe environment for honest discourse and nonjudgemental reflection. Every session, Zach supported, encouraged, and challenged us to embrace ourselves with sensitivity and care. Zach is a skilled facilitator and healer that I recommend for group or individual work.
This group provided me with a place for mindful time to reflect, slow down and listen. I felt supported by Zach's highly organized and good-natured approach - from scheduling to agreements to management of intergroup conflict. At Groupmuse, we hired Zach to come in and run a restorative-justice-informed conflict mediation process regarding some problematic behavior in our community. Zach did an incredible job, really taking the time to listen to all parties, conduct very thorough interviews, and give the crucial but difficult feedback necessary to create some accountability and assert some boundaries. Keeping a community safe is hard, and Zach came in and gave our team a real lesson by running this process professionally and compassionately, balancing safety and boundaries against the dangers of creating a culture of disposability.
