Bold Roofing - DFW's Best Roofing Contractor

We used Bold Roofing after hail damage to our home. When we initially spoke with our contractor, Gabe Gonzales, we were told all repairs would be completed within two weeks. In reality, it took over two months just to get a window replaced. Throughout that time, we repeatedly reached out to Gabe for a simple timeline update (about once a week). Our calls and messages were consistently ignored. The only way we were able to get a response was by contacting the home office directly. When we finally did get through to Gabe, he was extremely unprofessional — he chewed me out over the phone, and then hung up on me. All we ever asked for was basic communication: a realistic timeline, and updates if delays occurred. Instead, we were left in the dark and then treated poorly when we tried to get answers. To be fair, the crew who completed the roof and fence work did a good job, and we have no complaints about the quality of their workmanship. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and unprofessional behavior from the contractor completely overshadowed that. Based on our experience and after reading similar reviews, I would not recommend working with Gabe Gonzales. Communication and professionalism matter, and this experience fell far short of expectations.

We had an roof replacement on 10/2025, the whole process so professional and the job was done very well, Robert Stevens arrange the whole job, he is very dedication, smart and considerate of client, if you have any roof issues he will give the best solution to fix it, this is the reason why we still pick Mr. Stevens do this job, last job was done 02/2017, it was so efficient and great job, we were worry free. With the 9 years we feel very comfortable entrusting our house to such a good employee and company. The roof is so beautiful, we just love it. Thank you Mr. Stevens and Bold Roofing Co.

I’ve been using Bold Roofing since 2020 because they consistently do an excellent job. I texted Bob about a leaking issue, and to my surprise, he replied within 10 minutes, letting me know he would visit my home in two days. Even better, I received another message around 4 PM and saying he was visiting my neighbor nearby and was able to fix the damaged roof parts the same day! I also asked if he could put back the vent cover that recently fell off from the side wall, and he was more than willing to take care of it. I couldn’t be happier with their promptness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile. Highly recommend Bold Roofing!

Bob from Bold Roofing has been great to work with. Bob is friendly and professional, thoroughly knowledgeable so we felt confident having our roof replaced by Bold Roofing. He handled all the permits with the city as well as the supplemental depreciation with our insurance company. The roofing crew was hardworking, diligent and Bob follows up a couple of times during the day to check in on everything. The crew cleaned up everything ran the roller several times to check on nails. We really appreciated this because we told Bob we have a grandson who likes to play in the backyard. Finally, Bob did as he said he would and provided a TSI form so we could get a homeowner discount because we installed impact resistant shingles. Bottom line is Bob and Bold Roofing are top notch and we highly recommend them.
