This place does not have the capacity to take care of your pets in busy days. Their management is messed up. I once had fairly good experience with doctors and nurses here for my previous visits, although I do think its pricing is higher than others. But my recent visit is one of the worst vet experiences ever. 1. My cat was placed and handed back to me in a carrier that was not mine. They mistakenly gave my cat bag to another client and the client didn’t notice that neither so my bag was taken away along with some important documents and the cat’s medicines. I had to wait for the other client to send back my bag while carrying my cat in a cargo box the vet “generously” offered to me in a cold af snowy day. 2. After this incident, my friends, the pet’s co-owner, would like them to give us some extra supports that I didn’t ask for at first because I was too tired. We want to know if there are risks of cross-infection, also want the vet to have some protocols about things like this in the future. Unfortunately, the communication went out not so well. The front desk and nurse who talked to us were not very happy about our complaints. The nurse agreed to make a note for the manager. She said that is all she can do for us and the manager will call us. But until now, I haven’t got a call from the manager… 3. Very very very slow visit summary. I didn’t feel this visit helps me understand more about my pet’s symptoms. The conclusion is as always “we don’t know, need more exams(=more spending), need more time to observe”. In addition, they just simply can’t manage busy hours professionally. How could staffs take good care of your pets if they are stressful, tired and careless? Overall, I don’t have trust in bond vet anymore.

The entire team at Bond Vet JC is incredibly friendly, patient, and kind. They were very attentive with my dog, Olive, and took the time to explain everything in great detail, which really put me at ease. I am grateful for Dr. McLaughlin’s expertise and reassurance. I truly appreciate how thorough and caring the staff is; each and every one is compassionate, and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend this vet AND this particular location!

Update: Still an amazing experience! I’ve brought him back for blood work to get approved for his tick, heart worm, and flea preventive medicine and then again for his annual. Since he’s started chemo he’s very vocal and nervous at the vet and the team was so patient and kind with him. They quickly won him over and he trusted them to do a full check up. Original review: (5 stars) Came here for a few years before moving, clean place, friendly staff, and overall calm experience

as a cat mom, it’s hard to find good vet places and I’ve gotten through a fair share of them but going to BondVet, it was worth it. The staff is so nice and friendly and knowledgeable. My cat needed dental surgery and they were able to get her an appointment ASAP and they treated her like their own and even gave me a little certificate. they aren’t necessarily overpriced, especially for the amount of work and care they put into everything they do. Highly recommend.

This was my fourth experience bringing Florence in for vet care and I am so glad that we made the switch to Bond. I felt her prior vet clinic was more transactional and didn't take the time to get to know my pet. At Bond, there is a great sincerity to how they treat your pet, give a consultative approach and it's not just about checking boxes for billing. I am impressed with Dr. Kerry McLaughlin and her team here and it is a great asset to the community to have this office in downtown Jersey City. As well, thank you to Dr. Lauren Buchalter who took great care of Florence today and made her so comfortable that she is protecting the staff and acting as the welcome team in her below photo. Another plus to this office is they offer a teledoc option (which we utilized once for an ear infection) and have extended weekend hours. Thank you all! You are appreciated!
