I loved this place immensely. The posters, the art, the stickers, all pure perfection. It was a wonderful little paradise full of queer books and words against oppression. Will visit again when I get the chance. 💜

Bookish is exactly what you want your corner bookstore to be. They've a great curated selection, focusing on books from folks from whom we hear less. The service is friendly and helpful, and conversation flows easily. This is strictly a bookstore. Coffee? No. Magazines? No. Books? Yes! There's a small parking lot in Back. Wheelchair access is doable, but tight. This place is worth visiting and supporting.

The best way to spend a rainy day? In an indie bookstore, of course! Being new to Atlanta, I have been looking for a new local indie and I have found it in Bookish. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the selection was varied and up to date, and I was surprised to find a selection of used books available as well. I’ll be back soon, I’m sure. 5/5 stars.

Finally made it into Bookish after passing by it all the time. It’s a nice & quaint store and everything is organized well. I had a great experience with the staff, who was able to help me order a new release that had already sold out in the store. I’ll definitely be back to peruse & purchase more. The only downside is the limited parking in their small lot in the back, but the clerk did mention there being other options.

I initially came to the bookstore to see author Laura Carney speak on her book “My Father’s List.” I had a great time hearing the story of how she found her passed away father’s bucket list of things he always wanted to achieve. This lead to her going on adventures and discovering family secrets about his life. The book is a must read! I enjoyed my time at this quaint book store that has a lot to offer, including artworks by local patrons. The store its self is easy to get to. For parking, I would suggest to go behind the building for spots or park on the side street further down.
