More than just books, it's a pop culture paradise! I enjoy browsing the $1 vinyl, CDs, and books + $2 DVDs. There's sections for K-Pop and Pokemon lovers. Even found Atari games in the gaming section. Fun place to shop!

High quality used books, good quality figurines, some Japanese game relics, lots of DVDs and Blu-Rays (new/used), trading cards (Pokémon), ton of gacha collecting coin operated items, very clean and high quality displays. This isn't your typical bookstore, they sell very high quality used books, almost appear new. I pulled some books out to look at pricing, older books seem to be priced well, but they seem kind of random, some are very low and some are priced as if they were new. I did the same thing with the DVDs and Blu-Rays, pulled some out, very odd pricing structure here, some things are very cheap and some things are full priced no deal to be found. While it was very cleanly displayed, I'm not a fan of the pricing structure, it seems to make no sense why one movie or the other would be priced $5-$10 differently for the same age of film (older movies). If you're looking for a high quality used book and don't want to pay MSRP, this would be the place to visit first. These are the nicest used books I've seen in the valley, they curate the selection very well in those regards. I like that everything is clearly displayed with tabs that stick out in the aisle - easy to see/read.

I loved how much selection there is! (A lot of the merch is either for main stream animes from shonen genres,or very, very niche, lovers of very unpopular media and under rated anime) And prices aren't to bad ! (small trinket stuff, and books and mangas, also SOME figures.) My only concern is when you do a gasha coin purchase at the gashapon machine for tokens,it takes out a coin fee of 30 (usd) each time you use your card. (whatever amount you purchase + whatever amount is needed to reach thirty) its reimbursed in a few DAYS. I swiped my and twice, both for 1 coin worth three usd dollars, so it took out thirty TWICE. Taking out a place holder fee of 54 dollars. We asked the staff in that moment what was happening, and they casually told us it was fine and we'd get it back in days. It took four days for me to get the amount that wasn't the coin purchase back. I recommend everything else ,just stay away from the gashapon if you're budgeting or paying bills in the next few days !

Has a huge selection of Anime figures and manga. Big Japanese imported games selection. The USA English video games selection is small but good quality, though the prices are on the high side. Did tried to trade in a stack of good games and anime items but didn't want anything which was disappointing.

Not only does BOOKOFF have loads of books and DVDs, they also have a gashapon wall (mini toy dispensers). It was $2-$4 per toy though so consider the price. We also enjoyed the wall of Pokémon cards in the back corner. To the left of the store there’s even a clearance book section $1-$5 a book. We found some great books there. Friendly staff, clean store, not too busy and H Mart is right next door so that’s a win too.
