Paid $24 for the worst pasta I’ve had in a while lol. Our waiter was super friendly until he brought out the food? I don’t know if he realized that it wasn’t good and just didn’t want to talk after that or what lol. But he was nice. That was about the only positive part of this meal. Pasta was overcooked and slimy, chicken was gross and soggy. Hate to be a Karen but it’s deserved here!
All of the staff at the bar have been wonderful. We will be back again tonight and maybe tomorrow. While we were in town working on the railroad!
Border Foundry in Laredo offers a wonderful dining experience with a menu featuring a great variety of flavorful dishes. The herb-crusted salmon is a standout-perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection (yum!). Their crispy French fries are a must-try side. Their brick oven pizzas are fresh and delicious, and i love the thin crust and light cheese. The inviting atmosphere makes it ideal for any occasion. It is a great spot to enjoy bold flavors in a warm setting.
Restaurant looks great and service was really good. Food was delicious as well. The bread basket was a nice touch and had a herb bread. The Quail was great and the polenta was the best I've ever tasted with the aioli and spinach combination! Yummy! We were a large group and most everyone enjoyed their food. I'd go again.
Really great place for a special night out with friends or business associates. Excellent good with just the right amount of spices. Nice seating areas outdoors as well. For me the prices are very high, but I may just be showing my age. See attached menu with prices. My favorite was the shrimp appetizer. The Cornish Hen was very tasty with zesty smoked taste. Quail was outstanding with just the right amount of kick, reminding me of some really good Cajun foods that I have eaten. Pizza was reported as exceptional by my friend. Must have been, he left very little. Steak was reported by another as also very good. Terrific atmosphere.
