Bossini isn’t trying to hurt anyone. It’s just tired. It is a place repeating motions it learned years ago, hoping muscle memory will carry it through another service. The discounts change. The menu doesn’t. And neither does the food, not because they’re good, but because they’re familiar. There’s nothing inherently wrong with what arrives at the table. It’s simply food that has stopped asking questions. It feels like chefs are tired of thinking and have decided to serve what’s left of their dreams to cook for higher tables. It tastes like something designed to offend no one and impress even less. The room is loud, alive in the superficial way restaurants learn to be when they’re unsure what else to offer. Service comes and goes, earnest but distracted, as though everyone is working from a script they no longer remember agreeing to. You leave fed, slightly dulled, and already forgetting what you ate. The same empty feeling a meal at St-Hubert can bring you. Save yourself the trouble and the money, order Normandin.

The best meal during our stay in Québec City. The lunch menu is well-priced, and the portions are generous. They have a service system where you can press a light block to let them know you need service. I think this is quite useful if you are in a rush or if you prefer taking your time and not make the staff feel like they have to come and check on you.

This place has a variety of vegetarian dishes as well and we ordered some of them. The servers communicated well in english too. They were very warm and welcoming and the food was very delicious. Ambience of this place is also amazing.

The restaurant is upscale but a bit flashy too, with it’s interesting lighting and disco ball. The beef carpaccio was excellent, tender, no fat, sliced thinly and flavorful. The Caesar Salad was tasty but a bit salty and a little too much dressing. The drinks were good and although the service began slow, it all worked out with a staff of different servers.
