Went for brunch and was not disappointed! The octopus, the deviled eggs and the pancakes were absolutely delicious. There's plenty of parking onsite and the staff is super friendly and attentive.
Pros Truly beautiful atmosphere: The moment you step inside, the space feels warm, elegant, and thoughtfully curated. It’s the kind of place where you instantly relax and want to linger. Wonderful service: Every staff member I interacted with was attentive, quick, and genuinely pleasant. Their professionalism and kindness create a very welcoming feeling. Calm and soothing vibe: The restaurant has a peaceful energy that makes the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. Lovely tableware and furniture: The plates, utensils, and overall setup are high-quality and a pleasure to use — small details that make the visit feel special. Cons A small sharp bone in the burger: The burger is too salty but tasty. Also, I caught a little sharp bone in the patty, which was an unexpected and somewhat unpleasant surprise. Tea arrived not hot enough: The water in the teapot, and even the refill, were only warm, so the tea couldn’t brew properly. It took away from what could’ve been a simple comfort. Side salad felt too simple: The salad that comes with the burger was mostly just leaves with a very sour dressing. It could really shine with a few extra ingredients and a softer, more balanced flavor. No sugar offered with the tea: I usually enjoy one spoon of sugar with tea, and it wasn’t provided — a small detail, but one that would make the experience more complete.
Would definitely go back! The food was great - the shakshuka had chickpeas, lamb sausage and was very flavorful, the accompanying pita bread was pillowy and warm. The brunch menu is very reasonably priced. Service was on point. The restaurant design was very intentional and neat. I liked the custom art, the mirrors in the co-ed bathroom area, high ceilings. They had expensive looking heaters with movable arms, and in general it did not look like they spared any expense in decor. (Which hopefully doesn’t impact the restaurant’s viability!) The restaurant does seem a bit out of the way, and was very quiet for Saturday at lunch - I hope more people visit so that it stays around!
Went here for our 5 year anniversary. Host was very pleasant upon arrival. Thanked us for celebrating our anniversary there and offered complimentary champagne and an appetizer, which was very gracious of them. Interior decor is very nice and pleasant. The menu was very interesting. Seemed like a blend of Mediterranean and Italian. We ordered the hummus with extra pita, kousa, the snapper, the ribeye and the hazelnut affogato for dessert. Hummus was delicious and the pita as well. Seemed like they used lard in the pita, so it had almost a homemade tortilla chew to it. 4/5 The kousa was very delicious. Didn't know it was gonna be a roll when ordered, which made it very nice to eat. The toasted sesame added a nice crunchy texture and complimented the lamb really well. 5/5 Definite recommendation! The ribeye was cooked a little under our request. Requested med rare and the steak came out more rare in the thicker parts and med rare where it was thinner. Steak was seasoned nicely and tender, however the temp was not there. It came out barely warm, probably because of the cook, but that was a bit disappointing. The salad on the side had a nice mix of greens, but the vinaigrette was a bit too salty for my taste. 3/5 The snapper was cooked perfectly and the cold heriloom tomato and red onion salad that accompanied it was very good! I'm not the biggest fan of tomatoes but I did really enjoy those. 5/5 Hazelnut affogato was a nice finish to this rather big meal. The gelato has an amazingly creamy texture and the espresso complemented it so well. Definitely gave me that pick up that I needed! 5/5 Definitely would be coming back, especially if they have seasonal menu changes.
I had lunch here today, and the food was absolutely delicious. What a hidden treasure—you wouldn't even know it was there. The service was great, the atmosphere was really nice, and everything is laid out well. It's a great spot for a nice lunch or dinner. I will definitely be back!
