We have been using Bow Wow Behavioral for our first puppy, Milo, and now our second puppy, Lincoln. Milo is always told he is the best behaved puppy and I have Ty and team to credit for that! When we got Lincoln, we enrolled him in puppy training and also a week of camp, which is boarding with training for a week. We had an amazing experience - Ty, Laura, and Kyle are super knowledgeable, patient, responsive, and detailed. We received extensive updates everyday on Lincoln's training, cute pictures, and connections to puppy parents that he played well with. We felt like our pup was in the best hands and safe, which is all you really want! Lincoln came back and was able to walk so much better with us and was noticeably better trained. We will continue to use Bow Wow Behavioral for continuous training needs for both of our dogs - couldn't recommend the team more!

We first started working with Laura through individual training sessions in our apartment before sending our 3-year-old Sheepadoodle, Toby, for a 2-week board and train, and the experience exceeded our expectations. We loved that Bow Wow's setup is an apartment environment similar to our own home, which made the transition easy for Toby. From day one, communication was outstanding. Kyle, Laura, and Ty sent detailed daily updates with photos, explaining what they worked on, what challenges came up, and how Toby responded. Reading those updates became the highlight of our day. They clearly understood Toby's specific tendencies (leash pulling, dog reactivity, nervousness around traffic) and tailored every session to address them. The progress was remarkable. Toby went from needing a head lead on every walk to walking calmly through busy Chicago streets, past dogs, squirrels, kids, train stations, and even through Petco, all without it. Kyle gradually increased the difficulty each day, and when something was too challenging, she'd take a step back and work through it rather than pushing too hard. Beyond the training, the whole team genuinely cared about Toby. When he had a stomach issue, Ty checked in the next morning to let us know he was feeling better. When we asked about paw licking, multiple team members responded within hours. They also set us up for success at home by explaining the "why" behind every technique so we could continue the work ourselves. Highly recommend for anyone looking for real results and a team that treats your dog like their own. We're already planning follow-up sessions.
