Upon entering it immediately brings your attention with all the updated LEDs and decor inside this establishment! There’s tons of arcade games and a smaller amount of bowling lanes compared to the average bowling alley. They also offer a full bar with higher prices. The menu is definitely pricey for a bowling alley. We went to a restaurant afterwards (I would recommend that as the food looks mediocre). The service is absolutely awful, from the bar, to the front desk, to the people that come and serve you. It’s a Saturday night and not busy at all. However they all were all very bad at providing customer service and their demeanor was very poor. They need a overhold on staff and they would go up to a 3 star. The pricing and quality of food is why they are down two more. I really wouldn’t really recommend coming here, but if you want something to do with friends I guess you can give it a try and just hope for better service. If you’re on a budget this wouldn’t be the spot lol! Service - 1/5 Price - 2/5 Ambiance - 5/5 Taste - N/A Update - this place originally was given one star during my review, but Tawfeq made things right after the horrible experience. One of our friends have their finger crossed by the bowling bowl since they were so heavily stacked. Tawfeq definitely deserves a raise for trying to make the best effort he could to make things right.

A small bowling alley. Inside the valley fair mall right next to macys. There are a lot of games do the kids to play while waiting for the lane. Games are fairly decent and not too expensive. About 3-6 credits each game. We spent about $100 for games for 6 kids with the Groupons 50% off . They played for about an hour. Bowling was ok. Lanes were ok and the balls have holes as big as two fingers so they made crazy sound as they rolled down the lanes. The animation was fun to see. There are a handful of options to choose from which made the games more entertaining. We got a Groupon for $85 for 6 people for 2 hours. We didn’t know that it started as soon as you check in.

This place is the go to for entertainment around West Side San Jose. Bowling speicals and half off arcade games on Wednesdays. I would also like to say that the people here are really upbeat and friendly, especially the bartender Ivan. He made my cocktails well and efficiently while I visited here. There are six TVs in this establishment to watch sports on. Bathrooms are clean and operate well. Come on by if you want to have some fun for a few hours

Bowling (4.5/4): the lanes are nice and colorful and the animations on the screen are really fun. The console is not as easy to use; for instance there's no option to end or restart the game unless you get to the end. Overall fun space with a good assortment of arcade games as well. Food (4/5): The pizzas were tasty. Drinks (3/5): The drinks are ok and really pricey. Got a zero proof drink that was basically ginger beer for $9.

Great place to come with friends and family! There's a new manager now Nicole and she's a whole vibe. We loved the food and the kids had a blast in the arcade and with the cosmic bowling. The bar was busy and their drink selection is huge. We will definitely be back.

4th Street Bowl is a vibrant bowling alley located in San Jose, CA, that combines the classic charm of a retro bowling experience with modern amenities. Known for its exceptional pro shop service, customers travel from afar to have personalized fitting for their bowling balls. The venue is not just about bowling; it also hosts memorable events like birthday parties with intimate settings and live Hawaiian music performances, creating a welcoming atmosphere that feels like family (Ohana). While the bowling prices are reasonable, guests should be aware that waits for lanes can occur. Overall, it's a fun spot for both bowling enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
