Went for kids birthday party. They all had fun. Pizza wasn't bad and was provided with party, but crust could be improved. Atmosphere was good, the young men helped clean up. Kids were given $5.00 money cards to play games. Very good place to take your children for birthday party's.
My family visited Brandon Crossroads today, it happened to be during the time that they had birthday parties going on. They were very busy but the best part was my children really enjoyed bowling with the music and lights off. Kim at the front desk was very helpful in arranging gutter guards and a really cute dinosaur ramp for my kids. I later talked to her regarding the parties, when my kids get a little older we will consider a party there. The food was pretty good as well. We will definitely be back.
Long story , but worth the read - We have had our kids birthday parties here several times over the recent years. The party package is decent , includes game passes for the arcade, pizza, drinks and a time for bowling. Which is great. BUT we just had our sons birthday party here this past Saturday and I am absolutely HORRIFIED by 2 of the team members - one in particular more so. The party was about $300 , none of my sons friends showed up I’m guessing due to Halloween or what have you- I told the hostess that none of his friends showed up , that we didn’t even use one of the lanes , didn’t eat the pizza and we sent back all 18 of the ice creams because there was nobody to eat them all. She said “aw that sucks” - didn’t offer us a cheaper package - which is fine , that’s the package we got and that’s not her problem. NOW what we were not aware of, I guess you are supposed to tip on top of the $300 party package… so we paid our tab and were then moved to the arcade area by staff. My son (the birthday boy) and one of his little cousins accidentally forgot their shoes, I asked the older blonde woman who I presume is management at the desk if any shoes were turned in - she very rudely and quickly responded NO. Ok.. the boy that was cleaning our party area said he had seen my sons shoes .. so we now as a group went back to the lady and asked again if she was sure nobody turned in shoes - she then responded - “so is there a reason you did not tip your hostess tonight? Because they work off tips” I was very taken back , no I did not realize anybody in the state of Florida only worked on tips and I also didn’t know that the party package would need to be tipped and/or not be included in bill already. I then asked her if she was insinuating that she took my son and his cousins shoes because the hostess did not receive a tip. She became silent now. All of a sudden the girl that had been standing behind her once this altercation started had reappeared at the end of the hall holding both of our kids shoes. Everybody that was standing with us could not believe how disrespectful and rude this lady had been and they all started sharing their stories of their interactions with her that afternoon as well - all rude and short coming- which would have been before her hostess (Dani) was not tipped. Also would like to state on the record - she was tipped after bill was paid - she also left me a “sweet” note on receipt which I added pic of. All in all , after spending the money and the already disappointment we were experiencing this type of customer service is absolutely tarnishing this bowling alley. I would say Brandon cross roads needs to pay their employees more if something like this would cause them to be such jerks or maybe just add it onto bill for people who don’t know that it is required. Also should have that blonde lady re evaluated as being the correspondence to the public. She would probably be happier in the back somewhere or maybe at another job?
I came for the deal they offer for unlimited bowling from 3 to 5. I came for the first time after years and they’ve already pre-booked half of the Bowling lanes …. the place doesn’t smell fresh, so we just left not happy. Won’t come back. They told me since the people are paying more for those lanes it is what it is … even though they’re running the special and that’s all I have to say.
This was a big bowling alley with 40 lanes. Each with its sitting table for eating because the robot brought you your food! 🤖 Fries were large and fresh out of the grease! Smart move they come with no salt so have the shaker ready. Ketchup and mustard provided in each area. 🍺 is available. They also have a bar. It’s almost time for an upgrade. Bathroom was nice and clean and there had been a good crowd. The staff was busy and very helpful!
