We had a great experience with Chris at Breakthrough Dog Training. He trained all five of our dogs together—the mother Zarah (2 years old) and four 7-month-old puppies—which is not easy to do. Zarah is a full-blood, high-drive working dog, and Chris knew exactly how to channel her energy and leadership. Puppy Stella went from not listening well to responding much better to commands. Lucky stopped pulling and now walks calmly and well-behaved with my dad on their daily walks. Dante and Bella are now able to walk together confidently in public. Chris is patient, knowledgeable, and really understands dog behavior, especially in multi-dog households. We saw real, practical results and highly recommend Breakthrough Dog Training.

Chris is an amazing dog trainer. Highly recommend him. We started training our Doberman, Montezuma at 2 months & we get compliments of how well behave he is. My boyfriend & I feel confident & comfortable taking him out to local places. Monte will ignore other dogs & stay in place while we’re out. Also the trainer Chris is very knowledgeable on dogs behavior as well. Highly recommend him.

My dog is extremely aggressive with new people, especially when new people come into his space or try to touch him. We tried everything, behaviorists, various trainers, meds, but nothing worked. He became too much for me to walk or control until we were introduced to Chris with breakthrough training. I had little confidence in being a dog owner, but I can proudly say with Chris’ help, I have the confidence to walk my dog and have full control of any situation in public. Chris also helped introduce my mom to my dog (pictures included) and successfully taught us how to introduce new people to his space without any signs of reactivity! I am a proud dog owner and now lifelong client of Breakthrough dog training! Highly recommend!

I can't recommend Breakthrough Dog Training enough! Before working with Chris, my dog constantly pulled on the leash, ignored commands, and made walks stressful. Thanks to his training, she now walks calmly by my side, listens, and is obedient. She truly works with me now instead of against me, and it has made life so much easier. Chris is knowledgeable, patient, and clearly dedicated to helping dogs and their owners succeed. I'm very grateful for the positive changes he's brought to both me and my pup!

Chris has been the best trainer for both me and our crème lab Poppy! She went from being a difficult puppy driving me crazy to becoming a wonderful dog through our private weekly training sessions.
