A small to mid-size space that has all kinds of events going on---usually concerts but sometimes stuff like book sales or art exhibitions too. The building itself has been around since 1872(!) and it really was a place where they built components for bridges. Great venue for smaller concerts but does have one drawback---no public parking onsite. But less than a block away on Caroline at Barton there's a big municipal lot & several others close by. Also less than a 10 minute walk from West Harbour GO station.
Fantastic place to see a concert. Venue is intimate but not too small to see the bands that you like. I thought the size was perfect when I went to see Junkhouse. I was right up front but when I went to grab a beer (great concession area) I checked out the very back of the room and the sight line was still great. The sound was also phenomenal. Best sized place for a concert. 1000 times better than an arena and way more reasonably priced. I highly suggest you see a concert at Bridgeworks.
Staff is always super friendly and great. Drinks are extremely reasonable considering most venues charge you 20$ for shitty beer. Sound is fantastic and they host good artists on the regular. Always a great vibe. So grateful to have this gem in the hammer.
Very cool spot. Small venue. Couldn't be more than a couple hundred folks in there. Sound was sharp. Craft beer on tap with only a single nod to macrobrews. Good work.
The Bridgeworks is an intimate venue that can hold a large enough crowd with everyone still close enough to the stage to immerse themselves in the experience. Great acoustics with a lower stage that gets you close to the artists and a bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. If you want a great live music experience you should check out upcoming shows, the Nicotine Dolls show on September 28th was incredible!
