We had a fantastic time with Scott (guide) and Axle (captain) on the canals. Scott was knowledgeable and funny, kind and helpful. Highly recommend going on a tour with this company. Only thing that could've made it even better is some way to get a hot drink on board but it didn't reduce our enjoyment without it.

Excellent hour or so of commentary during a canal boat tour for 14 of us through the middle of Birmingham. The onboard bar and toilet were an unexpected bonus. Very friendly welcome and highly engaging information on the construction and use of the canals. Hugely recommended tour and the cheapest bar afloat!

I tell you what pal, but this was a right little ripper, a cracking cruise on the ode canal barge down the birmingham canal. Price wise it was spot on at £8 each and we grabbed a can of pop and bag of crisps each and the prices reflected this as they definitely didn't rip us off! The tour guide was a delightful Canadian lady who is studying locally at the ode brum uni. She had stories all about the history of the canals and it was very informative. James Brindley was a true hero in these parts of the black country along with thomas Telford who did more for this part of the world than some of the current generation who are building lego homes on what was a prime location along the canal. What the people that are buying these homes don't know is that basically the land that these homes are being built on used to be used for waste from the barges, or for the likes of you and me basically a cesspit, dirty, smelly and full of poo 💩 and wee wee! Bet they don't put in the pan flats when they advertise them up for sale! Also along the canal there are a number of bridges and if you look carefully on each bridge you can see markings which are from ropes digging into the walls when the barges used to be horse-drawn many moons ago. It really is fascinating and definitely a must see when and if your in the area pal! Fantastic work you brummies, keep on cruising 🛳 👌

Really informative tour, helped my family board, our daughter is a wheelchair user and i emailed weeks in advance to confirm if they could accommodate her. It took a couple of days to recieve a reply but pleased with the response. We stored the wheelchair on the roof, although there Isnt a dedicated accessible entrance, we were helped with our belongings and assisted onboard. Once the trip finished, assistance was offered again and wheelchair was in good order. Trip itself was very interesting, our guide was very informative and entertaining. Driver was helpful and confident navigating the boat. We'd definitely consider a private hire and will look to take the trip again in the future.
