Car review I want to firstly start off with I do not usually write any kind review under any circumstances however, my experience and the money I have spent and the time wasted has warranted this review. I have spent close to £2000 with Bristol bubbles and I had chosen them to do body work to my car as I had seen good results and I had been following them for a number of years seeing their progress which I liked. However, the service and the time wasted has left me dissatisfied to say the least. Too start off with they were very reciprocal in communication and they are friendly people. But the finish on my car and the promises were not up to par. They carried out a number of services for me such as full alloy refurbishment, paintless dent removal (they have a third party they use for this service), body polish and panel respray. The only service I was satisfied with was the alloy refurbishment, the rest of the services were poor finish. The “stage 2” paint correction was poor with polish that was slung everywhere too be seen inside my cars senosors inside the door handles, under my windscreen and on the side panels of the car. The next service that proved to be time wasting and of bad standard was the respray, with overspray on the window to the orange peel that was left on the paintwork the finish was terrible (photos down below). I obviously contacted Bristol bubbles to raise the issue which they did apologise for. However, it did not change the fact I had to bring the car back too them at a later date further using my time and money it would take me to get the car to them then back and the money I would have to use in between whilst without a vehicle. The next service and promise they made to me is that they would put a body kit on and “guaranteed.” That the body kit would NOT fall off. Lo and behold the diffuser came off the second day I had the car. From which because I had to bring the car back too them anyway at a later date I would put in my boot for them to reinstall again (photos down below). On top of this when I would eventually give them the car back and for them to rectify the mistakes made I.e the respray on the back quarter panel and front left side bumper they would install the rest of the body kit that I had ordered too their unit. The same evening I had received the car back after they “fixed” the issues the body kit was on and not only an hour later after receiving the car going home I hear scraping I got out of my car to find the front splitter had fallen off not only was I embarrassed with the sound it was making scraping against the floor I was very angry at what I had seen. They did not take any of the old adhesive off the front of the car where the splitter was previously (I’ve had different front splitters before) so the 3m tape and the glue did not have a good surface for the glue to adhere too. The screws they had used were not deep enough to secure the splitter and I was left disappointed and dissatisfied on the side of the road not even 1 hour after collecting my car. More over non of my sensors were working and whilst I drove my car the reverse light would stay on when my car is in drive. Again photos provided below. Too top this all off with screenshots of them promising me the car the previous day. They had falsely promised I would receive the car after they had finished the body work. I had made many plans that day to use the car as I had already wasted enough time and money with my car being out of use. For me not to receive my car and to be told sorry the body work isn’t finished you can collect it tomorrow. I am a very understanding person however, when I have been let down so many times and too be this dissatisfied with the services provided I had no option to write this review. 5/11/2025 They have since blocked me on social media, blocked my phone number and this review seems too magically get removed, which I believe is by them. Highly recommended BristolBubbles, pleasant experience from first point of contact to picking up my car from the unit once the work was complete. Jack and Josh were friendly with brilliant communication. I had a stage 1 polish, couldn’t be happier with the results. Very fairly priced for high quality work.
I had a repair done by jack and I can honestly not fault him at all. I had a text in the morning stating when he would arrive. The work has been completed to the highest standard. His pricing is very reasonable for the high level of work!! Cannot fault the repair at all!
Second time here and very satisfied! The dent is fixed perfectly — looks like new. My daughter kept saying the car is so shiny. Staff are friendly and polite. Highly recommend!
Arch wheel paint repair done by a great guy called Jack. Arrived promptly in the morning, explained how the repair works and got right to work! Sanded, painted and coated within an hour and half with excellent skill and professionalism. Overall great guy and a testament to the business. If I ever need a bad scratch looked at, I’ll definitely look to Jack and the Bristol Bubbles team. Thanks again!
