Brittany Gidley was a photographer I found on Instagram who became a friend who has captured some of the most beautiful moments of our lives. She treats everyone like family and has the most genuine light about her that makes everyone comfortable in her presence. I've seen her engage with other kids at her studio and she treats every single one of them like a loving aunt. What's even more amazing is her talent. She captures the magic and innocence of childhood and she also captures who your family is in that moment. When I look back at all of the photos that Brittany has taken, what she really gave me are memories. And as parents we all know that childhood is fleeting and those memories are moments we can't get back. As a two mom family, I am beyond grateful to have found someone who treated my family just like everyone else's, with respect, love and kindness. Brittany is the definition of professionalism AND grace. I would recommend her to anyone looking to have their newborn, child or family photographed.
Brittany is one of a kind. Not only is she beautiful inside and out, she makes you feel the same. She brings out the best in others and is an absolute light. Her incredible work is reflective of the person she is. She puts her heart and soul into every photo and treats you like you’ve been lifelong friends. I have stalked Brittany since the moment I found out I was pregnant again and after losing our daughter was finally able to have my dream maternity and newborn shoot with her. She was so empathetic and understanding of our circumstances. Her caring approach changed my outlook on my pregnancy and her including both of our girls here and in Heaven was something I’ll never forget. The world needs more people like Brittany. Brittany is incredibly talented and is an extremely kind and knowledgable photographer. She has been our photographer for multiple family photo sessions for many years, from the Cleveland Art museum, Edgewater Park, Downtown Cleveland, all the way to Walt Disney World. She has quite literally watched our family grow up in front of her eyes and her camera lens. She is extremely professional but makes you feel at ease as soon as you start to speak to her. She always has great ideas for poses and shoot locations and her smile is contagious. Her photos have become precious heirlooms for us, that I plan to hand down to my children in the future.
