My 10-year old takes guitar with Evan, singing with Marina, and digital composing (a group class) with Taylor. He says: going to Brookfield is really fun, and I love writing new guitar songs every week and I love singing and composing with Marina, and I love learning digital composing because I can use any instrument to write that music. At Brookfield I can make any kind of music I want. And Ernie is such a little sweet doggo.

Marina is a superb vocal teacher with a holistic approach that produces tangible results. I laid out my concerns to her which were, essentially, helping my child find her voice. Marina expressed that she didn't usually teach students so young and that the way she teaches is not the way she or I learnt (I have a music background). The changes and results Marina has enabled in my child are stunning. Her speech is clearer, her pitch has dramatically improved, her diction is excellent and she now feels more able to express herself verbally; she is finding her voice. I will not have another teacher. Love Marina, love her work!!!

This is such a beautiful school. Surrounded by nature, it has a really peaceful and inspiring atmosphere. Layla is absolutely lovely, warm, encouraging, and so passionate about music and her students. She’s created something really special here. I always leave feeling uplifted. Highly recommend!

It has been a true pleasure as a parent to have my children attend music lessons with Layla, Matthew, Janice, Taylor and Kurt. Observing their progress and enthusiasm for music has been wonderful, and the professional yet nurturing environment they've created truly inspires both creativity and harmony within them. We appreciate the dedication each of these instructors has shown. We have consistently found the communication from this school to be clear and helpful, and the quality of the lessons has been excellent. My children always look forward to their sessions, and it's also been wonderful to know that student and parent feedback is always welcomed and valued, as this demonstrates their commitment to continuous improvement. Our overall experience with Brookfield music school has been a genuine highlight of our extracurricular activities. As a student myself in the Women's Choir, I thoroughly enjoy each lesson I attended. It provided a joyful escape from the busyness of the week and the opportunity to rediscover my own passion for music in a supportive setting. The community and connection fostered by Layla and the choral group has been instrumental to me finding personal balance and equanimity. Brookfield Music enriches our lives with music, kindness, and joy.
