I can’t recommend Brushed Beauty enough. I was lucky enough to work with them twice, first for my sister’s wedding and then a few months later for my own — and both experiences were amazing. We worked with Heather, Emily, and Laken, and they were all incredible. They truly listened and made every adjustment I asked for until everything felt perfect. Not only did I feel beautiful as the bride, but my entire bridal party loved their hair and makeup and felt so confident and beautiful as well. So talented, professional, and wonderful team to work with! I’ve already recommended them to friends with upcoming weddings!

We absolutely loved working with Brushed Beauty! Communication was excellent from the very beginning, and the makeup trial was such an enjoyable, stress-free experience. Emily & Cherish were the makeup artists for my wedding and they brought such great vibes into the bridal suite! They created the most perfect soft glam looks that made everyone feel confident and beautiful. Our makeup held up flawlessly all night — even with rain and lots of dancing! We couldn’t have been happier with the results and highly recommend Brushed Beauty to any future bride. 💄✨

I had my trial with Kasey for make up and Whitney for hair. They did a great job with listening to any feedback I had or changes I wanted. My hair and make up were absolutely perfect on my wedding day. Kasey, Whitney and Callie did hair and make up for myself, my bridesmaids and our Moms. They did a fantastic job - not only did everyones hair and make up look great but it lasted the ENTIRE day. I am so grateful for them!! Thank you!

Whitney did hair and makeup for myself and my mom for my wedding. She was absolutely amazing to work with and created the perfect looks for each of us. As someone who doesn't wear makeup frequently, I didn't always have strong opinions about what I wanted, which I know can be challenging. Whitney talked me through options, pros and cons, what might hold up the best through the wedding day, and helped me narrow down to what would work best for me. Through the trial she was happy to tweak things so I could see what I might like best and then we incorporated all the notes into the final look. My mom said she wanted to look and feel like herself, as she also doesn't wear much makeup and doesn't often style her hair. Whitney delivered, taking what my mom felt comfortable with and elevating it to the perfect level for the wedding. She checked in with my mom throughout the process, ensuring my mom always felt comfortable with what was being done. We can't thank Whitney enough for helping to make us both feel beautiful!

If you're a local DMV bride-- walk do not run. The team at Brushed Beauty is as professional and talented as they are are friendly and easy to work with. I got married this past May, and I cannot say enough amazing things about Heather and team. First of all, Heather is SUPER organized and makes sure that all trials are done in a timely fashion, just in case there are adjustments you need to make before the big day. She does the trials in a group format which I actually loved. Now the TALENT-- I'm 38 and this is my second marriage, so we did things a little bit different. The team (Ariana for makeup and Jess for hair), were just phenomenal. They really nailed the look I was going for (casually romantic). I didn't have a wedding party per say, but I had about 6 other women get ready with me in the morning. Everyone looked amazing. We had an earlier wedding (afternoon), which meant an earlier than normal arrival time. They were super flexible and just all around wonderful to work with. TEN OUT OF TEN.
