If you go, expect “Antique Store” pricing, not Thrift. They have lovely pieces, but as many others have noted, the prices are very, very high. The employees are really nice and helpful, which is amazing. But the high prices will limited my shopping here for sure. They do not do discount days anymore.
The way that this place is overpriced is pure insanity. I'm shocked that they sell anything. I just left and they have dozens of chairs and couches sitting out in the rain while trying to charge double retail prices on tchotchkes literally from IKEA. But they did have a Katie Kimmel pottery piece so that was almost interesting.
This place is the best. I’ve found gems each time I’ve shopped here and things are very reasonably priced. But the very best part of BTS is the people who work there. My car broke down there and many of employees helped me for over an hour until my car issue was resolved. They were so kind, knowledgeable and wonderful. And to top it off, the proceeds of the business go to an amazing cause. Can’t recommend this store enough.
I’ve never visited a thrift store that charged thousands of dollars for wall art. Lamps and other home decor were pricey as well, with many items going for hundreds of dollars. Perhaps they should rebrand as a consignment store so as not to mislead new customers.
Found some great electronics, and some nice dishes for the kitchen here. My first reaction was everything here is majorly over priced. I saw some tables and some art for like $800 or $1000. Way out of my price range out, however who knows maybe these pieces are super rare and old, I don’t know. But on certain days they have discounts and I would say that’s the time to go. Amazing staff and everyone is super helpful. Definitely some gems in here.
