A fun place to step back in time. Learned a lot about Buddy Holly and his life. Also, about music during before and during his career that helped mold his unique sound.

Fun museum with lots of info. Kinda small but jam packed with cool stuff. The love and admiration for Buddy Holly is felt here.

Great place if you love Buddy Holly. But you have to love Buddy Holly. There is one room dedicated to his life and music and then a mock-up bedroom in another room with letters from the foundation to other music artists and producers. Took about 30 minutes to get through it. Can take longer but you need to love Buddy Holly. Interesting history though

For a university museum, it has a lovely design and a good atmosphere. The newly added fossils brought new life to the space. My favorite part was the section about Lubbock’s history, especially the wooden dolls. They were fascinating.

An amazing experience. Learned more than I ever knew. The guided tour through the Allison house…our Guide, sorry, her name escapes me. She grew up on the Bronx. Thank you for a great experience.
