It wasn't as expensive as I expected, and the quality was quite good. It was delicious, and there was corn chowder that I could drink all the time. The counter staff were very friendly and provided excellent service.

Nice, sizzling steak house with friendly staff. They also have hot pots, Taiwanese night market snacks, and drinks/shaved ice. The Taiwanese night market steak is decent, but the black pepper sauce is a bit too sweet. The fried pig's blood cake and fried tempura are good. The downsides are the price; the steak ordered rare was already medium-well when it arrived.

February 26, 2026 Update: Initially, I was really disappointed with my first experience and didn't want to go again, but my husband loves Taiwanese steak, so we decided to go again. Three months later, the food had clearly improved, and there were more staff. Their attitude was much more professional; they proactively asked if our order was okay and if we wanted to take some home. Plus, there was no extra charge for takeout containers. However, the key point is that they're no longer a buffet. I was a little disappointed at first, but considering I didn't even get any scraps of food the first time and still paid 36 yuan, it's probably for the best. They've lowered the prices, so it's reasonable now. Currently, they offer hot pot, Taiwanese steak dishes, and Taiwanese bento boxes (but it seems you need to pre-order), etc. If you miss Taiwanese food, you can go. November 21, 2025 I don't know if it's due to staff shortages, but when I went, the buffet was already empty, and they didn't have time to restock. I went around 6 pm. The sirloin steak was really dry; I couldn't even chew it. I ordered it medium-rare. I thought the chicken cutlet was okay; it was like eating a very dry sirloin steak and a decent chicken cutlet. There was nothing left to eat at the buffet because it was empty, but it still cost me over 36 yuan. I was really looking forward to it, thinking it would be a Taiwanese night market steak place, and I was hoping to get that kind of combination meat, but it wasn't like that. At that price, I'd rather eat a Western-style steak. I can't really comment on the buffet food because it was all empty, and since there was only one employee, they didn't restock. I probably won't go again.

Today we ordered New York strip steak with scallops (the steak was delicious), chicken thigh (large pieces, but not crispy like in Taiwan), and stinky tofu (not crispy enough, but the staff said they'd let us know next time and fry it crispy for us). The kids loved it. The staff were very friendly, coming over to ask if we were satisfied with the food and if we liked the taste. We'll top up our account today and go again next time. I saw in other people's posts that there was a buffet, but it wasn't there when we went. We didn't ask, so I don't know if they don't have a buffet anymore. On our second visit today, we ordered the same New York strip steak (it was better last time). The noodles were quite oily today, and the filet mignon was a bit tough (my husband said it wasn't good). The kids ordered sizzling noodles (which turned out to be stir-fried noodles, not the kind with steak), and hot pot (it was okay). Then at 9 pm, the kids wanted corn chowder, so they took it away! When I paid the bill, they showed me the prepaid card from my last visit and asked when I used it. I replied that I used it last time (thinking to myself, "What's wrong?"). There was no discount (they mentioned a discount for prepaid cards last time), but after I explained that there was a discount, they asked what percentage tip I should give. Since I wasn't very satisfied, I asked if they insisted I tip. I probably won't want to come back once I've used up the prepaid money.
