⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Experience at Abby Lee’s Barber Shop I hadn’t had much time lately to keep up with my head shave or maintain my beard, and I definitely didn’t want to start the new year looking messy or “bum-ish.” From the very first interaction, Abby made the entire experience seamless and professional. When I called, she immediately booked my appointment, and when I arrived, she greeted me promptly and got right to work. Now, I’ll preface this by saying I’m no stranger to hot towel shaves—but true straight-razor shaves are becoming rare these days. Abby is not only a pro, I was genuinely impressed to learn that she teaches the art of shaving. That alone spoke volumes, but the experience itself exceeded expectations. It felt less like a haircut and more like a spa day for men. The service was never rushed. Abby took her time, paid close attention to both my head and face, and demonstrated exceptional care throughout. One moment that really stood out was during the neck shave—she paused to ask if the area was feeling sensitive before going in for a second, closer pass. That level of awareness and respect for a client’s comfort is something many barbers overlook, and it made a big difference. What truly set her apart, though, was her attentiveness. She caught in conversation that I didn’t want to go into the new year looking or feeling unkempt. When she finished the shave, she thoughtfully pointed out my ear and nose hair and offered trimming or waxing. I opted for waxing, and she even included some eyebrow cleanup. Those small details matter—and Abby clearly understands that. It’s this kind of personal service and attention to detail that defines an excellent barber. Abby has truly made an art of her craft. This place is top tier in every aspect. A true professional laid back atmosphere. The best haircut you will get as well as the best self care you can offer a man. Came from Australia to pass by in New Orleans and even though it was closing time, Gary stayed back and gave me nothing less than a warm welcoming and took his to give me the best haircut any could in town! Definitely reccomend to anyone looking for their next cut to see Gary, genuine and professional. Thank you once again Brother!

We are in town for a conference and my husband desperately needed a shave. He loved what The Gatsby package included so he called to get in. They were able to squeeze him in and he absolutely loved it. He said it was the best haircut, men's facial and shave he has ever had. Thanks!! We just wish you had a location back home. 🤣
