I'm very disappointed with Busken's! I currently live in Dallas and was bragging to my coworkers about the infamous Schnecken from Virginia Bakery. I assumed they were previously frozen because they were extremely dry! I ordered 2 and another cake with the Holiday bundle! All 3 were dry and the microwave was a little help except the ends, which the microwave couldn't soften them. If I'd known they'd arrive like this, I would have picked one up when I was home for Thanksgiving! My coworkers still thought it was good AFTER being the microwave for 20 seconds. The other items were fresh and enjoyable but the Schneckens weren't! Consider shipping them frozen. ***UPDATE*** I emailed Busken's and was contacted by Dan. He explained what happened and replaced the bad Schneckens! When I received the replacements, I couldn't wait to warm up a slice and it was just like I remembered! Thank you Dan for the explanation and the quick resolution. I knew Busken's cared about their customers and products!

I haven’t been back home in 10 years, but my husband recently stopped on his way home through Cincinnati. The tea cookies and iced cookies are just as perfect as I remember. Perfect Christmas nostalgia!

I recently had an issue with the quality of a product i was ordering and contacted Nicky on their corporate line through email and she immediately contacted me and was extremely understanding and helpful in getting this issue resolved. I also recieved a follow up call by Tina the next day and, again, was very grateful for the way they handled my situation. Love Busken Bakery and will continue to buy my pastries here!

I ordered 2 birthday cakes for my two sons 2 weeks apart and they were both phenomenal. (Mickey and lightning McQueen) The decorators are fantastic and the staff are all so sweet and welcoming. I will forever order their birthday cakes from the Hyde park location. ❤️ best bakery in town by far.

I love that this location is open on Mondays! Busken's Plain Danish is my husband's favorite pastry, and they often sell out early in the AM. I wanted to surprise him with some before he has a long week, and this location was open on Mondays. 🙂 The employee who helped me was so warm & kind. A great way to start the week!
